My heart thumps against my chest.
I feel your body, I taste your breath.
Pull me close, in your arms.
You feel so warm, I love that charm.
Eyes closed, Breath uneven,
My heart breaks when I think of you leavin'.
I pull you closer, smile on face,
I hear your heart, quicken its' pace.
You grab my chin, lift it high.
Your smile grows, along with mine.
Lean into me, smile in place,
I once again , get lost in that face.
And just before your lips touch mine,
Your eyes twinkle, so divine.
I take my time, breathe in you,
and that's when you whisper, "I love you."
