*Claire's POV*
I sang along to Sleeping with Sirens as I laid in my bed, trying to get the thought of why my brother wasn't answering my texts out of my head. I had told him to text me every few hours but he hasn't sent me a text since 5:00PM which is when he left. I called him a few times but he wasn't answering.I got up off my bed and walked over to my desk. I looked at my laptop, open to word where I was working on my personal narrative essay. Normally I don't get in to papers but this one is different. I'm allowed to express myself and my opinions and thoughts in this paper and that gets me excited. I had completely finished my paper and turned it in but my English teacher wanted me to shorten it to two pages instead of four. That was easier said than done.
Sighing, I saved my work and closed my laptop. I left my room and went downstairs to the kitchen. I wasn't really hungry since I ate a few hours ago but I was bored. I felt like eating so I grabbed an apple and took an unsatisfactory bite. Not really wanting it anymore, I discreetly threw it away and hid it under more trash so my dad wouldn't see that I wasted almost an entire Apple.
I thought about maybe calling Rachael but I remember her saying something about going out with her boyfriend Andrew tonight since they haven't gone out in a while, but I also could've sworn I overheard Andrew say he was going to Sammy's party tonight....
Eventually I gave up and settled for a movie marathon in the living room. I picked a movie I could easily get into to distract myself and made a bowl of popcorn. I sat down and cuddled into a pile of blankets and pillows, and tried not to think about Devin.

When the movie finally ended, I checked my phone for the time. It was 10:39PM and I still had no messages from Devin. The worried big sister came out in me, I couldn't take it any longer. I got up from my comfy position on the couch, grabbed my keys, threw on my Vans and walked out of my front door. I turned on my car and drove to Sammy's house. I knew where it was because I followed Shane there when I had suspicions about him cheating on me. Who knew that it would've been useful in the future?
I pulled into the huge driveway, where there was already so many cars parked, and turned off my car. I got out and walked to the front door. Not bothering to knock, I opened the front door and stepped in. I looked around for my brother but I was only in the entrance hall. I wandered around her house, avoiding all of the drunken party goers, and found what I presumed would be the living room. It was a large room with high ceilings and big windows. The upstairs hallway had a balcony that looked over the living room and stairs to the second floor. The floor was split leveled so the lounge area with several couches was on the lower level and the tables that were set up with party games were on the higher level. I looked around each game for my brother but couldn't find him. There was only one game I hadn't checked by and it was one that had jenga blocks on it. I watched some people play it out of mere curiosity.
Several people would take turns pulling out a piece from the jenga tower, the player had to do whatever was written on the block, if they failed to do so they were deemed a chicken and therefore were disqualified from the game. If the tower fell during your turn, the game was over and you had to do the "hardcore challenge." I have no idea what the challenge was but I heard the people at the table taunting each other about it.
I looked at the clock on the wall, it was 11:18PM. I had been here for about half an hour. I was currently watching some poor boy take out a block that required him to take 5 shots in 5 seconds when I heard several loud woops come from what I assume was the dining hall. I looked over and, to my horror, saw my little brother being dragged towards one of the kegs by a bunch of senior guys that were in my English class. I tried to get to them but drunk people kept getting in my way.
I watched as they flipped him upside down, held him in place, and forced beer into his mouth. I was about to start screaming when I saw Jasmine rush towards the group, flailing her arms around and hitting Aedan several times in the face. He dropped my brother and backed away from her, they all backed away. She took her opportunity and helped Devin up and walked towards the front door. I was going to follow but then I saw someone that made me stop. It was the guy from my English class, Trevor. He was laughing at something one of the guys had said. I squinted at him, they were all going to pay, but he was at the top of my list. I wanted to teach those bullies a lesson in the worst way possible. I didn't know how I was going to do it, but I'd get my revenge on all of them, starting with Trevor.
Well I think I'll end that here, I hope you all liked it. I'll edit this later. Leave a comment and don't forget to vote for me!
