Omg I just realised is't almost christmas:) okay not quite true but ya know what I mean:) anyways, enjoy!

I couldn't say the words, I couldn't tell him, cause somehow, saying it out loud would make it real. This way I could just keep pretending it was just a terible nightmare I wouldn't wake up from.
"She's dead" I finally shouted, my voice raw from crying, wait, since when does Rose Hathaway cry?
"I know, Rose, that's why I'm here, they told me and asked me to go see if you were okay, which you clearly aren't seeing the damage you did to the damn wall and your hands"
"You... you, you know? How?"
"Like I said, they told me" when I asked why him, he just smiled and told me what I already knew, I'm your only friend. And I knew it was true. I pushed everyone else away, just so I could fucus on Lissa.
"The little sacrifices we make" My voice is barely a whisper.
"What?" Oh, did I say that out loud? I just shake my hand, get up and start walking away. Your doing it again. That's right, I was pushing Eddie away again.
"Thankyou Eddie. For everything." I fake a smile, knowing I'm not gonna lose him. I can build up walls all I want, but he's already inside, so I don't have to worry about him.

"Excuse me?" I'm being ignored. The guy doesn't even look at me, but just continues to read his book. Somehow that makes me think of Dimitri, with his western novels. I roll my eyes, and slam my hand on the table. The guy looks up bored.
"Yes, miss?"
"I'm here to see Dim- Guardian Belikov." I try to sound like Lissa when she's being her royal self.
"Yeah, not gonna happen sweatheart." He winks and opens his mouth to say something more. That's when it clicks in my head. I reach out my hand, grab his collar and push him against the nearest wall.
"Listen idiot, my name is Rose Hathaway, ever heard that name?" I slightly pause but not long enough for him to say anything, he doesn't need to, I see it in his eyes. "Well, I'm here to see guardian Belikov. You are gonna let me in, no matter what your orders are." My voice is low, and dangerous. Even I beleave that I will hurt him if he defies me. That's the thing, I don't have to sound like Lissa, I have to sound like me. People know me, not just for being with Lissa, but for being me. Wild and dangerous.

The guy finally let me in. I practicly run down the stairs, and almost fall over on my way. I burst through the last door and find myself looking at the back of the man I've so often dreamed of.
"Leave us." Suprisingly the two guardians at the door just take one look at me and than leave.
Dimitri doesn't react to any of this happening.
"Comrade?" I whisper. Placing my hands on the bars he is trapped behind. Like hit by lightning he shoots up and turns around, as if ready for a threath.
"Roza." That one word tells me all I need to know, I shouldn't be here, I shouldn't have threathened the guardian, and I shouldn't have the plan that is starting to form in my head. But it is all very much worth it.
"Dimitri, I need your help. Please, just tell me one thing-" he walks over placing his hand on mine.
"I didn't do it Rose. I didn't."
"What?"
"What?"
"Why are you telling me this ofcourse I know you didn't do this are you insane?"
"Oh. I just thought that because you wanted me to tell you-" this time I cut him of.
"Dimitri, when you were taken away, you said something to me. I need to know what it meant. I need to know if it's true."
"I was hoping you didn't hear." He mumbles low, after swearing a couple of times in russian.
"Why?"
"Rose.-"
"Why? Dimitri."
"Rose please. I don-"
"YES YOU DO DIMITRI, YES YOU DO. DON'T TRY TO GET OUT IF IT. YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THAT MEANT AND YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHY YOU SAID IT OR YOU WOULDN'T HAVE SAID IT." I'm yelling at the top of my lungs and I know I shouldn't but I also can't contain myself. I need the truth, and if I don't get it I think I might go crazy.
"Roza, I am so sorry. Yes it is true. I found out some stuff while we were in Russia. It's too long to explain, all you need to know is that she's controlling Christian, and that whatever you do, Rose,

don't trust Vasilissa."
It feels like a wall comes down and crushes me. I can't move, I can't breathe. The one thing I've always trusted, ripped away from me.
I repeat those words over and over again, than something hits me. I'm still a guardian, and I still need to do everything in my power to protect the moroi. I turn around, and leave the building. Feeling like a fire has started inside my heart and is destroying it very slowly, bit by bit.

I beat the door, but no one answers so I hit the door again. Still no answer.
Okay, let's do this the hard way than. I step back, and kick the door. It flies open and reveals a shirtless Christian lying on top of an almost naked Princess.
"Well, what a lovely sight. Now if you don't mind, Ozera, put a shirt on, I don't wanna go blind just yet." Confused, but shaken awake by my apearing Christian get's off the bed, puts on a shirt and turns to me.
"You know Rose, when people don't answer the door, they usually don't want to be disturbed."
"Oh take it from me, firy boy, you're gonna thank me for doing this."
"Rose? What are you doing here?" Lissa gets up wrapping the sheets around her body.
"That's none of your business princess." I make it sound as mean as posible. She has the pain I felt.
"Christian, your coming with me. Let's go get your dignity back."

So guys, I hate making Lissa the bad guy, but hey, every story needs a badguy, or well, girl for this matter.
