No! What is he doing here? Why is alpha Michael letting him on his property? Does it have to do with the person Connor is looking for? I had so many questions, I needed answers soon.

"What's wrong rabbit?" Jason asked as he noticed I wouldn't budge from where I stood when he pulled me forward. I couldn't tell him about Connor and Kourtney right now with Connor in earshot being able to hear us, it would have to wait.

"Nothing, it's just I don't want to step on mud." I lied looking down and seeing a puddle of muddy water in front of us. He gave me a puzzled look, Shit he knew I was lying. "There new and I don't want to get them muddy." I said referring to my flats, he rolled his eyes as I said this but he didn't object. Jason didn't really care about getting dirty he was all for hands on. He came closer to me wrapping one arm around my waist and bent down to put his other arm behind my knees, scooping me up into his warm embrace. He kept walking until we reached the Alpha and Connor who quickly quieted down at our approach. Setting me down gently Jason turned to his father,

"Is everything ok?" He asked his father, I could feel Connors heated gaze on me but I refused to look at him. I was embarrassed at how he had humiliated me earlier. Jason must of been communicating with his father through the pack link because they had that intense look on their face where their eyebrows knit together and their lips formed a straight line. Something must be wrong, Jason never looked so serious whatever the Alpha was saying must be bad.

"Well, Well, Well, look who we have here." I gasped when I heard his voice in my head, I looked up my eyes locking with Connor's cold stare. "Well this proves my theory not only are you nosy but stupid too." How dare he call me stupid! I felt anger bubbling up inside me waiting to be let loose. The wind started to pick up, blowing around like a hurricane making the leaves dance around us and the trees shake and bend at weird angles. A strong surge of power shot through my body and I focused it all on Connor, I want him to feel pain. My eyes zeroed in on him and all of a sudden he went flying backwards into a tree that split in half with the impact of his body. I walked forward approaching him where he had landed and I stretched out my hand twisting my fingers, as I did this his body writhed and twisted making him groan in pain. I smirked at him, ha take that! I twisted my fingers again wanting him to feel more pain but nothing happened, I looked around the wind and trees had stopped moving and everything was still, to still. It was as if time itself had stopped, Jason and his father weren't moving either. My heart sped up something was definitely wrong. Had I done this? No, it couldn't have been me I would know if I did.

I looked back at Connor when I heard him laughing, his booming laughter echoed throughout the whole forest sounding so menacing in the quietness.

"Kourtney was right you have potential." I heard him say in my mind. His eyes had turned a dark blue and his cold stare sent a shiver down my spine.

"Are you doing this?" I asked my voice full of wonder and fear.

"Well it's obviously not them" He said nodding toward Jason and the Alpha. "And it's definitely not you." He said sarcastically rolling his eyes as he got to his feet dusting off his white sleeved shirt and pants.

"How do you know Alpha Michael?" I asked him, he narrowed his eyes on me as he approached me.

"So many questions yet so little answers." He stopped until he was standing in front of me are chest almost touching. "Tell me Lucy how is it that a little vampire like you can survive in this town filled with witches and werewolf's?" He reached up a grabbed a strand of my hair stroking it in his hand. "So soft." I heard him whisper to himself, his warm breath tickling my face. I felt my breathing pick up and my heart speed up, I felt like it was going to pop right out my chest.
