The King and Queen of the Vampire Nation. Nothing made sense to me anymore things were becoming more and more confusing. Why would I be having dreams with the Queen of Vampires it just didn't make sense I've never met the women for pete sake.

I stood up from my seat and started pacing back and forth, I need to take things one step at a time. I'll start with this deal of Connors.

"What do I get out of this deal if I help you?" It better be fucking good or I'm not doing shit for him.

"You get my protection my love trust me you'll need it." He states grinning evilly like a Cheshire cat his voice husky and seductive drawing me further to him.

"I want more..." Before I could Connor interrupts,

"Of course you do." He said dryly like he was disgusted by me, my heart stung at his words. "They always want more." He grumbles to himself. I decided to ignore that comment and continue.

"Well maybe if you would let me finish and not interrupt" he motions a hand toward me to go on, "what I was trying to say before I got rudely interrupted is that I want to know everything there is about vampires and I want you to teach me to control my thirst, I can't go a day without feeding." I said feeling ashamed at myself for my low self control.

"Huh... how strange, most vampires can survive with a drop of blood for weeks." His eyebrow quirked up as he stared at me intently his blue eyes baring into my soul. "It shouldn't matter that your a young vampire your body should be able to resist the urge for at least a couple days." He stared at me for a couple of seconds as if he were contemplating something then abruptly stood up from his seat behind the desk at walked out the door without saying anything else.

That's it? Should I follow him? He didn't tell me to stay here. Ugh he's so frustrating.

I decided to follow him out and headed out to the hall. I could hear noises coming from the kitchen so I headed in that direction. Connor's back stood to me his chiseled muscles tightening with each move he made, he seemed to be taking something out of the cupboard from the looks of it. I saw him get a little pouch full of some herbs that smelled terribly nasty, he filled a mug with water and poured some of the herbs in it.

He turned to face me, mug in hand he handed it to me. "Drink this it should help with the cravings." He said, our fingers grazed each other when I grabbed the mug sending little shock waves up my arms. Connor tensed up and quickly pulled his hand away his expression becoming hard. Did he feel it to?

I brought the mug up to my face breathing the aroma in. Oh god it smells bad, if it smells this bad it must taste awful. It smelled like a rotten egg had been left out for to long. I looked up at Connor shyly threw my long lashes.

"Drink." He commands his voice booming through out the quiet room.

"It stinks." I wrinkle my nose in disgust.

"Drink, or I'll make you drink." He said his eyes like slits as he stares impatiently at me. I could never keep up with his mood swings, one minute he's nice the other he's a Grinch. Geez.

I took a tentative sip my tongue exploding with the taste. Hmm... it taste sweet not at all what I expected. I took another sip,

"What is this?" I ask.

"It's a herb." He said not giving anything away. No shit.

"I know that but what type of herb?"

"That's not of importance." He said handing me the little pouch of herbs, "Drink them when you start getting cravings."

"Thank you." I said taking more sips of the tea, my body instantly felt more relaxed and my gums weren't itchy. My throat wasn't burning anymore and I felt... good.
