Linkin Park!! Ok so this guy named Rafael has a Linkin Park band shirt and when I see it I get super happy and jealous at the same time. >_< I'm so weird. Anyways,

Linkin Park was founded by three high school friends: Mike Shinoda, Rob Bourdon and Brad Delson. After graduating, they began to take their musical interests more seriously. They started off their band as Xero. Their band began falling apart as their vocalist left the band. That's where Chester Bennington comes in. He was formerly in a post-grunge band Grey Daze but joined Xero and soon after gained two more members, then changing their name to Linkin Park.

•The band went from the name Xero to Hybrid Theory to Linkin Park

•The band struggled to find a label company that would sign a deal with them but finally found one in 1999

•Linkin Park participated in numerous charitable events, most notably raised money to benefit victims of Hurricane Charley in 2004 and later Hurricane Katrina in 2005. They also donated $75,000 to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation in March 2094 and helped relief efforts for the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami victims. Aww that's so considerate!! :-)
