Feel Better

Shai's POV

"So here we are with our first caller; you're on with Shai Whaler. What's your name and where are you from?" Matt says and I smile when the girl screams.

"Oh my gosh hi! I can't believe this! My name is Ally, I'm from Liverpool. Shai I'm a huge fan!"

"Aww thanks so much Ally." I say. I actually did have fans.

"Ally did you have a question for Shai?" Matt asks.

"I have a ton! But, just one would be um, what was your first concert on tour with One Direction like?" she asks and I smile just thinking about it.

"Well, I'm not going to lie. I was scared to death. I mean it was my first real big performance and it was a sold out show at the O2. But it was amazing." I explain. "The boys have been so suportive and it's all been a blast."

"Thanks for your question Ally." Matt says and brings up the next caller. "You're talking with Shai Whaler on Matt's question hour. What's your name and where are you from?"

"Hello, my name is Devyn, I'm from London." the girl says.

"Hi Devyn, what's your question?" I ask.

"Who are your favorite singers that aren't famous? Like from YouTube." 

"Well, I actually have some amazing friends from a camp I went to, and they always upload stuff on YouTube. There is Meaghan Geosalfi, Cameron Linders, Alyssa Neuharth, and Nathan Porter. Gosh there are so many more but those four are some of my friends." I say. "I'm actually supposed to visit Cameron in Australia," I laugh remembering."

"There you have it Devyn. We have one more question before we take a break." Matt says. "Who do we have now?"

"Hi, I'm Tayler from London," the girl says. "Shai I saw you at the first concert at the O2 and you were amazing! I've been obsessed ever since!"

"Thank you so much." I say. "It means a lot to hear people say that."

"My question is, who was your first kiss?" she asks.

Memories flood back and to keep myself from crying I laugh.

"My first kiss? It was my best friend." I smile. "Connor Beck. I was thirteen. He was the coolest guy ever."

"Thanks Tayler! We''l be back again with Shair after a few songs; so stick around." Matt says and starts a song.

Thinking about Connor made me realize just how far I'd come.

"Not only am I now worried about Danielle and Liam's wedding, now I have mine to think about." Sarah says as we look through wedding magazines. "Niall and Harry better not propose soon!"

"I don't think they will." I laugh. "And on top of those two weddings, my sister's is coming up."

"And El is pregnant." Sarah adds and I shake my head. 

"I feel so behind." I say. "But I'm already swamped with tour and my album promotions, and now Justin is wanting me to do a music video for Tell Me. I'm glad I'm not engaged or pegnant."

"That would not be helpful." Sarah laughs.

"Not at all. So when are you looking to have your wedding?" I ask.

"Well, since Dani has set October twenty- second which is right after the European leg and right before America, I'm hoping to do it right after America. With Zayn being gone I can do some big planning in my free time."

"I still can't believe you're engaged!" I exclaim and she smiles.

"Me either. My mom and dad flipped, but of course they are happy." she says and continues to turn the pages of a magazine.

There was so much going on in my life at the moment I definitely couldn't handle planning a wedding, but it would be fun. I just wasn't sure if I was ready for marriage. It was just hard watching everyone around me moving on with their lives when I really had no clue what I was doing.

Harry's POV

I silently watch Shai as she strums on her guitar and writes down new lyrics.

It was like she was in her own little world. She picked up her guitar and she could forget everything except what she was doing. She was so gorgeous...

I think about what I want to say to her, but I don't dare interrupt. I walk out of the room quietly and sit down on the couch and flip through tv channels. Shai seemed a little distant lately. LIke this week off was a complete break. She was more quiet, didn't sleep much, and was always writing. Was something wrong?

Sometime later she walks out of our room and sits next to me. She lays her head on my chest and smiles up at me.

"Hey beautiful," I say.

"How are you?" she asks.

"Just perfect." I tell her and kiss her lightly. "Can I hear what you were working on?"

"Do you really want to?" she says sitting up.

"Of course, go get your guitar." I tell her and she leaves quickly to return with her old guitar.

"Everything just seems a little crazy since I've actually become kind of famous, and I wanted to thank my fans. Don't make fun of me, and it's still a little rough." she says and I roll my eyes. As if I would ever make fun of her.

"I'm feeling good vibes, all around. Thanks to you guys, I think I've found what I wanna do with my life. A couple tries to get it right. But here I stand. And it's all because, all because, it's all because.  You and I can share the spotlight. Dreams on fire watch it ignite. Every hope, every wish, didn't know we'd make it this far. And this is just the start."

She stops and I start clapping.

"You amaze me more and more everyday Shai. Why are you so perfect?" I ask and she laughs.

"I'm not perfect. But I'm glad you like it."

"Like it? No Shai I love it." I say and kiss her. "I love you."

I should really update more than I do.. But I hope this wasn't too boring. I think I know where I'm going with this but idk :p. The song on the side is Tiffany Alvord's 'This Is Just The Start' I'm so excited for her new album! Ok bye.

Wait 50 days until I see ONE DIRECTION with my best friend Cayla. Hi Cayla :) and that's why this is dedicated to her! Haha ok bye now.
