"What a weird girl was she," I thought to myself. I floated up my staircase and into my bedroom. I sat down and flung my phone up. I scrolled through my messages. I guess I was a mentor now. Evelyn was pestering me.

Eve: Heyyyy Clair! I wanted 2 talk 2 u

Eve: Clllaaaiiiiirrr

Eve: Eclair.

Eve: ECCLLLLAAIIIRRR

Me: What? What could you possibly want at this hour, Drunkard?

Eve: I want 2 speak 2 u

Me: Well, spit it out.

Eve: Y do u get an apprentice even thou u r a rank 4, aka, BELOW ME

Me: She wasn't a Manicronic, Evelyn, she was a Telekinur, like me.

Eve: That doesnt matter

Me: Did you think it all relies on ranking?

Eve: Yeeaaahhh

Me: Idiot

"Stupid idiot," I sighed. Either way, I do deserve that 3rd ranking more. Evelyn is nothing but a mere alcoholic idiot. I called my apprentice, Bella. Straight to voicemail. "Hello Bells, called to see if you confirmed your training in a week. Call back." I floated into the kitchen and gathered some cake, and took it back to my room. I turned on my TV and spooned some cake into my mouth. Cold just as wanted.

After finishing my cake I went to bed. In the morning I called Bella again. "Bells? Don't ignore me!" I still had no answer. Evelyn was still annoying me. She's the only high rank I talk to. I don't even know the highest two's names. Symmetry scares me to no end as he is nothing but an insane freak that uses cannibalism as a power source. And Wither is too powerful. I wouldn't dare speak with him as I don't even know how he acts, if he's stable. There are only 15 of us. I don't speak to the lower ones either. No high rank speaks to low ranks. Apprentices aren't considered low ranking, instead they have yet to be tested.

I didn't know where she lived, however I could probably ask Evelyn to find her. Sadly, Evelyn knows nothing about her besides the fact that she is called Nightshade. "Hmm," I thought of what Bella could be doing. Perhaps she is with friends or perhaps a male friend.
