"Demi!" Mrs Jonas' exclaimed.

"Mrs Jonas!" I yell back at her.

"oh sweetie, what are you doing calling me Mrs. Jonas!? You used to call me momma J" she told me pulling out of our hug.

Once I caught a good look at her face she looked kind of hurt.

I smiled at her apologetically.

"I'm sorry, I just haven't seen you in a while I didn't know if you were still comfortable with that" I told her.

The truth was I had forgotten I had even called her that. Before Joe & I were dating I was always over there & one time I had just called her that and she liked it so it kinda stuck.

"Of course I'm comfortable with it baby" she told me.

I love Denise. I really love her like my own mother because she treats me like a daughter and she's always treated me that way.

"okay" I told her

"I'm gonna go find Joe" I told her.

"okay have fun!" She called after me and went into the kitchen.

I walked over into the living room and leaned in.

"Babe?" I called. no answer.

I walked up the steps and went into his room.

"Jooooeee" I called. still no answer.

where is he? I stepped into his room looking around just out of curiosity. I haven't been in here for a while.

I always liked Joe's room. His bed was really big and comfy and the mixture of reds,grays & blacks in his room reminded me of myself a lot.

He obviously was in here because he left his phone in here. I picked it up and starting going through his phone. I know, I know I should trust him blah blah blah but he would do the same thing to me I know he would.

Most are from his Mom. I smile at that. Like who texts there mom on a daily basis.

I scroll down to the bottom of inbox and just as I'm about to lock his phone back up I see Selena's name at the bottom.

"what the hell" I say flatly like joe is standing right In front of me.

I can't even bring myself to open the messages I just slip his phone into my back pocket with mine and walk out of his room. I want him to show me the messages himself.

I went down the steps and to the sliding glass door that led onto their deck. before I opened it I heard Selena's loud laugh.

I rolled my eyes and opened the door to the back deck. I don't know why I was so annoyed.

there deck was pretty. off to the side was an oval table with 12 seats at it then in the far left corner was a couch that was L shaped in the corner. they had a pool in the yard and a canopy over the deck incase it got to hot or rained.

"oh hi Demi!" Nick exclaimed and stood up to hug me. I looked over his shoulder & saw Joe and Selena laughing about something. they were so close their knees were touching. what the hell. First they are texting now it's like there best friends. Last time I checked joe wasn't really that important to Selena.

"Nick, hey!" I said hugging him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him tightly.

He went to pull away and I kissed him on the cheek. He got crazy red.

He just smiled at me & I smiled back.

"I missed you so much, it's been way to long" I told him.
