Amethyst walked into the Big Donut(where she works). "Hey Sadie" Amethyst said waving at short,blonde haired human, standing behind the counter. Sadie looked at Amethyst and smiled. "Hey Ame. How are you?" She said. "IM good. Where's lars?" Amethyst said walking behind the counter. "He's skipping work today and asked if I could cover for him. I said sure" Sadie said looking at Amethyst. "Why are you always covering for him?" Amethyst said as she rested her elbows on the counter. "He said that I could be his player two" Sadie said,blushing. Amethyst rolled her eyes. "Oh yeah. And being 'player two' is so important,in your eyes" Amethyst said. Sadie didn't reply. "You know he's just asking you to be his girlfriend,right?" Amethyst added,smirking. "He is not asking me to be his girlfriend. He's just asking my to be a good friend and cover for him" Sadie said blushing heavily. "Whatever" Amethyst said,rolling her eyes. "How's Pearl been? Has she gotten over the breakup?" Sadie said,whispering the last part. "Eh. She's doing alright" Amethyst said. "That's good" Sadie said nodding. "I just can't believe how Garnet can just dump her,out of nowhere. I mean Pearl is...perfect. She's beautiful,funny,smart,everything about her is just perfect" Amethyst said,blushing when she realized what she just said. Sadie's mouth dropped. Amethyst blushed even more. "It kinda sounds like you have a crush on Pearl" Sadie said,grinning. "I do not" Amethyst said angrily. "Hey,hey. It's fine. You and Pearl have known each other for a long time, now. So it's alright if you have a crush on her" Sadie said. Amethyst felt a little better. Amethyst and Sadie looked at the door as it swung open.
