TALK

It was 4:00am, Pearl woke up, since she heard glass shattering. She turned on the lamp, beside her bed. Pearl's eye widened as she saw Amethyst standing at her dresser. Pink glass and money(cash and change) was scattered on the floor in front of Amethyst feet. "Amethyst? What are you doing?" Pearl said as she got out of her bed. Amethyst was blushing furiously. "Amethyst?" Pearl said as she approached her. Amethyst looked up at Pearl, fearfully. "Were you stealing money from me?" Pearl said angrily. Amethyst stayed silent. "AMETHYST?!" Pearl yelled angrily. Amethyst jumped. "I-I um....y-yes...I was stealing...b-but I have a perfect explanation for it..." Amethyst said, her heart was racing and she couldn't think straight. "I don't wanna hear it. Why would you think it would be ok to steal?" Pearl said. "My explanation will explain every question that you have to ask me" Amethyst said. "Really? Will it explain, how are you gonna earn my trust back?" Pearl said angrily before walking to the kitchen. "Please Pearl, just hear me out" Amethyst said as tears flooded her eyes. Pearl stopped walking. "I don't want to hear it, Amethyst. You've crossed the line, this time. By the way, tomorrow I want you to move to a different dorm. I don't want to see you for a long time" Pearl said then started walking again. Amethyst eyes widened. She ran out of the door. Pearl didn't notice. Pearl grabbed the broom and swept up the glass and money in the dustpan. She carefully removed the money from the dustpan and hid it in her drawer. As soon as Pearl got back in her bed her phone rang. She grabbed it. Garnet was calling her, Pearl answered. "Hello?" Pearl said. "Hey Pearl. What happened between you and Amethyst?" Garnet said. "Why do you ask?" Pearl said. "Cause it's raining outside and she sitting in the road, right outside of my dorm" Garnet said. Pearl's eyes widened. "Thank you, Garnet. Can you keep an eye on her until I get there?" Pearl said. "Sure" Garnet replied. Pearl hung up and threw on some clothes. She put on her jacket and grabbed Amethyst's, then ran out the door. Pearl kept running through the rain. Pearl arrived in front of Garnet's dorm. She spotted Amethyst in the distance. Pearl ran towards her. Amethyst was sitting in the middle of the road. "Amethyst? What are you doing out here?" Pearl said as she crouched down in front of her. Amethyst didn't answer. "Here. I don't want you to get sick" Pearl said as she put Amethyst's jacket around her. Amethyst hair and clothes were soaked. Her hair was curled up and dripping with rain. 'She looks kinda cute' Pearl thought. "Amethyst, Please look at me" Pearl said softly. Amethyst didn't look up. Pearl lifted Amethyst chin up. Amethyst had tears running down her cheeks, her eyes were red, and she was blushing. She turned away from Pearl. Pearl turned her head back towards her. She planted a kiss on Amethyst's forehead. Amethyst blushed furiously. "Talk to me" Pearl said. Amethyst looked down and spoke. "I don't want to move to another dorm. There's no other roommate for me, your the only one I want....as a roommate. But when you told me that you wanted me to move to another dorm, I didn't want to stay. I tried to explain why I had to steal from you, but you didn't want to listen" Amethyst said softly. Pearl lifted Amethyst head up and grabbed her hand. "I was angry with you, Amethyst. I don't want you to move to another dorm. I don't think it's possible, anyways. But you are going to have to earn my trust back. IM still your friend. And I'll always be. Remember....we have a very strong friendship" Pearl said while intertwining her fingers with Amethyst's. "I love you.." Pearl said softly while blushing. Amethyst blushed heavily at those words, Pearl usually never said 'I love you' that often, especially to her. "I-I love you, too" Amethyst said softly. Pearl hugged Amethyst. Amethyst hugged back. Pearl kissed the top of Amethyst head then rested her chin on her head. Amethyst nuzzled her head in Pearl's chest. They stayed like that for a while
