Jasper was standing in the doorway of the shop. Sadie and Amethyst groaned, then turned around to act like they were working. "I know you bitches aren't working" Jasper said in anger while walking up to the counter. "What do you want?" Sadie said turning around to face Jasper. "IM not buying anything from this dump. I just came to talk to Amethyst" Jasper growled. Amethyst rolled her eyes,deep inside she was frightened of Jasper,but she wasn't about to show it,especially when Sadie is around. Amethyst turned around to face Jasper. "What is it?" Amethyst asked. "You know what. Where's my money?" Jasper said angrily. "I don't have it" Amethyst replied. Jasper picked Amethyst up by the collar of her shirt. Sadie's eyes widened. "I TOLD YOU, YOU BETTER HAVE $50 READY FOR ME,EVERYDAY" Jasper yelled. "Hey,don't get mad at me. It's hard to get that kind of money,especically with a job that pays $2 an hour" Amethyst replied. Jasper dropped Amethyst on the ground. "Ow" Amethyst said as she landed on her butt. "I'll be back tomorrow for the hundred dollars. And if you don't have it by then there will be consequences" Jasper said before walking out of the shop. Sadie walked in front of the counter,to Amethyst. "Are you ok,Ame?" Sadie asked as she helped Amethyst to her feet. "Yeah. Thanks" Amethyst said smiling at Sadie. "So,why do you owe Jasper money?" Sadie asked. "I don't owe her anything. She just, tells me to give her money everyday and if I don't she'll threaten to hurt me....or Pearl" Amethyst said. "Have you payed her before?" Sadie asked. "Yes. I've been stealing from Pearl,using the money from this job,and pick pocketing people, to pay that bitch" Amethyst replied. "How long has this been going on?" Sadie asked. "......Five years..." Amethyst mumbled sadly,to were Sadie could hear her. "FIVE YEARS??!!!" Sadie yelled in shock. "Yes. But please don't tell anyone. Not even Pearl. You have to keep this a secret. Jasper said if I tell anyone she'll hurt me and my family. Please Sadie,promise me that you won't tell anyone" Amethyst said,tears started forming in her eyes. "Uh....um....I...I promise. I won't tell anyone" Sadie said sadly. "Thank you" Amethyst said hugging Sadie. Sadie smiled and hugged Amethyst back. "Your welcome,Ame" Sadie sighed. "Alright,let's get to work. I can see people coming towards the shop" Amethyst said pointing outside the shop,at a few people walking towards the shop. Sadie nodded. Her and Amethyst ran behind the counter. A woman with long,pink,curly hair walked in with a man that was half her height. The woman was carrying a baby in her arms. "Hello,my name is Rose Quartz. This is my husband Greg, and this is my son Steven. We are new to the neighborhood. And we were wondering if you know where Apple St. is?" She said sweetly,with a smile. "Yeah. It's downtown,across from Fishstew Pizza" Sadie said smiling. "Thank you" Rose said. Then the couple left out of the shop.
