PAYBACK

Amethyst walked back to the dorm, that her and her best friend shared. Amethyst pulled her keys out of her pocket and unlocked the door,she pushed the door open. Pearl was asleep on the couch with a book laying on her chest. Amethyst smiled as she walked in. She threw her things on her bed and ran into the kitchen. Amethyst pulled out a bottle of mustard then ran to the couch. She grabbed her air horn off the floor. "5..4..3..2..1." Amethyst whispered. She blew the air horn in Pearl's ear. Pearl's eyes shot open and she quickly sat up. Amethyst squirted the mustard in Pearl's face. Pearl screamed and covered her face up with her hands. Amethyst bursted into laughter. Pearl wiped the mustard off of her face. "AMETHYST!! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?! I HAVE MUSTARD IN MY EYES!! THANK YOU FOR THAT!!" Pearl screamed while rubbing her eyes repeatedly. Amethyst snickered and grabbed a dirty pair of her underwear out of the hamper, she handed it to Pearl. Pearl grabbed it and wiped the mustard out of her eyes. Amethyst bursted out laughing. Pearl looked at Amethyst underwear and screamed. Amethyst fell on the floor, laughing harder and holding her side. Pearl glared at Amethyst. She stood up and stomped away. Amethyst calmed down and looked at Pearl. Amethyst ran to her. "Hey, P!! You mad at me?" Amethyst said. "Yes" Pearl said as she turned away from Amethyst. "Oh com'on,P. Don't act like that. It was a joke. I did warn you that I was going to get payback, earlier" Amethyst said. Pearl looked at her angrily. "You took it too far Amethyst. All of that was uncalled for" Pearl said. "I know. IM sorry. Can you forgive me?" Amethyst said. "No" Pearl said turning away. "What do you mean No? Your supposed to say yes and then everything can go back to the way it was" Amethyst said. "Not every problem ends with a happy ending, Amethyst. You have to learn that there are consequences to your actions. And your consequence is me ignoring you for a while" Pearl said. Amethyst groaned. "Fine" Amethyst said and she walked to her bed. She laid down at the foot of her bed. Pearl walked into the kitchen and began to wash the dishes. Amethyst stared at the ceiling. She teared up at the thought of Pearl ignoring her. Amethyst wiped her tears away and sat up. Pearl saw her little sad scene from the kitchen. She snuck up behind Amethyst. Amethyst blushed heavily as she felt Pearl's arms wrap around her waist. Pearl pulled their bodies together, her face heated up. "I forgive you, Ame. But don't you dare do anything like that again" Pearl said. "Does that mean you won't ignore me?" Amethyst said. "Yes" Pearl replied. Amethyst turned around and hugged Pearl tightly. Pearl hugged back. They both blushed, but kept hugging. Pearl and Amethyst pulled away from each other. They smiled at each other. "We have a very strong friendship,P" Amethyst said while poking Pearl's nose. Pearl giggled, "True". The rest of the day was normal for the two: they ate dinner,took their showers,and got ready for bed.
