I Don't Care(Pokemon fic)

Chapter 2

This what it looks like when a Pokemon talking to Ash

"Soooo what should we do now." The girl said with no rush as they walked out from the forest onto the dirt road, thinking about where they should begin their journey.

  "well, I heard the humans talking about there being a town nearby.
    I'm sure someone can tell us where to start, cause I have no clue."The pikachu said to Ash quite frankly. Off to the town that they soon found to be called pallet town.

      At the town they noticed a few houses that all had a similar structure with no eye catching features. As well as a few wandering around town with nothing much to do.

      Walking up to a man who was just standing looking into a puddle of water. She asked if he knew where to start her journey.
     All he said was... Well actually he said absolutely nothing helpful at all. And he continued to stair deeply into the puddle. Trying a couple more times and  only getting the same results she moved on.

    Giving a sigh Ash moved on to a house instead. Knocking on the door, only for it to open on its own. Walking inside cautiously only to see a lady in the kitchen.

    "Come in deary my name is Delia. What can I do for you."

      "Umm. Do you know anything about how to start a Pokemon journey. Please. I tried talking to the guy outside but that didn't work."Ash said while chuckling nervously and scratching the back of her head.

     "Don't even try. Everyone's completely bonkers.                Coo coo crazy. Sorry deary but no I don't know much. Buuut there is a Pokemon professor in town. He is a pretty smart guy. He's bound to know something.
Just continue up and to the left if you want to go to his lab. "

   "Thank you ma'am. You're the first person that has actually made sense. Bye.  " Ash said while taking her leave.   

    " well she is rather different. I like it. And others probably will to. Good luck deary. You'll need it." The women mumbled to herself knowingly.

     Heading to the building that the kind lady pointed out. Ash thought the lady gave off a rather calm aura even though she was hyper. But moving on she put back on her game face and getting back to her main purpose. She walked through the laboratory doors.

         Once inside Ash and her buddy's eyes wandered the surroundings. She found their to be many wimpy looking men fiddling with different tools and gadgets. The only person that stood out was an old man in a lab coat at the far end of the room.

   Walking up to the man with purpose the girl inquired "Are you the professor".

     "Huh oh yes I am and who are you. I've never seen you be-before" the man stuttered, slightly intimidated by  her emotionless eyes and cold voice.

  "How do I start a Pokemon journey or whatever it's called. "

When she finishes this journey she knows she will be the strongest she's ever been. That has been her main goal from the very beginning.

     "Oh so you want to go on a Pokemon journey. Well first I should go over some basics and I should get to know you a little better as well. So we should start now if we want to be finished before night fall.
Let's see if I can get it all in one go. Oh yes I remember. *clears throat*
Well there is first all the different types. Fire, water, grass, ice, dragon, rock and a new fair-"he started only to be interrupted by an impatient girl.

"Just get to the point. I already know all of it." Ash says abruptly not even trying to pay attention.

" oh. Well are you a boy or a girl. What is your name and where did you start from."

       'Should we tell him. We still don't know who those people in front of your home were' the Pokemon mumbled to its owner. Ash answered back reassuringly that 'they' didn't know that she was alive.

While this was occurring the professor was looking on in wonder. 'Is this strange person actually communicating with a Pokemon.' 

       While in his thoughts Ash noticed his staring and glared at the professor sending a shiver down his spine. Ash couldn't completely trust this man. They just met. Even though she was just reassuring pikachu earlier, she herself wasn't sure he was safe. Well not yet at least.

   "Fine. I will answer your questions. I am a girl. My name is Ash and I lived in the forest about 2 miles away from here. And before you ask, yes I did just talk to the Pokemon on my head. Don't ask me how, I just can. Any other questions."

"Wait. The forest! What about your family and food. ...your a girl." Acting more shocked on her gender rather the fact that Ash lived in a forest or/and talked to Pokemon.

"Lived there since I was 6 years old. The Pokemon were all the family I needed. Kept me warm, fed me berries and taught me how to take care of myself. I'm a girl but that doesn't matter. All that matters is getting to my goal of being the best."

"Well the strongest right now are the elite four and to beat them you need to get eight gym badges from all around kanto. You can choose out of the three starter Pokemon I have here at the lab. "

"... No . I already have my best friend pikachu to take care of me. But where is the closest gym."

"Well the closest one is north of here but the gym leader is the strongest and shouldn't be messed with at your low level. Past that town continuing north there is the gym that most  new-comers  start with. Also as a favor for me. Can you take this device called a pokedex. It informs you on many Pokemon in the world and collects data for my research. You will have to update me every once in awhile...It will also help you be the best." The professor added just to sell her on taking the device. He needed someone to collect data for him and his arrogant grandson wasn't going to help.

"Well  fine if you insist. I'll be off..." "Pika-chu!"
And Off they went.

     "Is she always so intense. She needs to loosen up more. I'm sure her journey will help her. I wonder how she will change. We'll have to wait and see."

   "...we probably won't be able to beat him. Yet. But we could go meet him now. I'm sure he knows more about all this adventuring stuff. More than I do at least. "

"Might as well. Maybe he'll know where we can stock up on oran berries or SOMETHING. I'm starving. "

*grumble grumble

"Me to. Now shut it. I'm trying to pump myself up on starting my journey."

"Actually Ash. Sorry to burst your bubble but it has already started."

    "You've always been a party pooper. Well we have a long way to go and the journey is just as important as the destination. So let's do it!"

Changed it from the original script. Hope this is a little better. It's also a little longer. Wooh yeah I'm so excited. I just can't hide it! ~{*=*}~
