Story 3 - Wolf Of Man

Part 3 - A Werewolf is Born

So now we know that Char is mean and evil and Lupe is a little evil but really sweet and makes up for it with his good intentions - though does that really make it okay? Every bad guy in history always thinks he's right - otherwise he wouldn't be doing what he did because to him the ends justify the means even if they don't.  Never mind. Let's not get philosophical here. Moving forward.

Well, there is so much story behind Lupe being charmed, I suppose to fit it all in I'll need to get on with it, huh? Okay. So. There was a girl among Char and Lupe's admirers who wasn't quite, what we say, normal. She was very different in fact. She wasn't a fairy, (Surprise! I know. All the other have been fairies. But they don't always have to be, now do they?) but, still special in a similar way.  She was also very gullible and easy to trick. So when a fairy did come to town, quietly in the dead of night, the girl hid the fairy without questioning it. It was a witch’s duty to protect their brethren after all. Even if those brethren weren't the best or nicest of the kind. And this fairy was one of those. Not the nicest fairy to have lived, but a fairy none the less. The fairy could tell that the witch who housed her was really at the same level of magic and the majority of the fairies (With a few rare exceptions like Mal) and the only reason she wasn't one was because she was to scatterbrained to be able to reach the deep meditative state needed to become one. Perfect. A golden opportunity to do what she loved doing best - stirring up trouble.

She questioned the girl on her likes and dislikes, her life and her hopes and reams, her aspirations and, yes, her crushes. When the girl explained the two dreamy boys that ruled the school, the fairy had a premonition. One of those boys would be the perfect toy - and the other the perfect pet. And this girl was perfect to help her and was going to, one way or another. The fairy planted ideas in the girls mind with her words. What kind of witch was she, passively allowing her crushes to live in the line of sight of other girls - to allow other girls to be drooling all over them? She should be more assertive. And if she didn't have the guts to do so then she should let the crushes go. They would only hurt her in the end, otherwise.

The girl accepted the fairies words as truth. Yes, she was spineless. She should be more assertive. But, how? She couldn't be seen doing magic...but maybe...she could easily plant the magic on someone else and...yes. That was a perfect plan. And the plot that would end Lupe’s life was complete.

*Lupe wasn't actually Lupe up until this point and even a little past this point. He was given the name later, and I've just been using it because to me, Lupe will always be Lupe and no one else. Lupe is Lupe and Char is Char, even though that's not really his name either. I feel bad putting Lupe's real name here because everyone thinks he died so honestly and - well, you'll see. And since both of these characters are still alive, or well, they were when I left, I think that their story should never end and their names should not be revealed to respect the privacy of their lives.

The girl, who we will call Rosia for the rest of her appearance, though brief it will be, was friends with a few other admirers of the Princes. Admirers who were a bit more bold, a little more outgoing, who participated in the touching contests and competitions while she did not. And she trusted these girls. So it was to one of them she gave the spell that she thought would be best for each boy and gave the girl careful instructions on how to use them and when. The girl smiled and nodded and since Rosia trusted them she accepted that the girl understood. This was the mistake in the plot that would seal Lupe's fate.

The girl went off the find Char, armed with magic to change his life. She gasped when she bumped into Lupe instead and her heart all aflutter, she pulled out the wrong clip. For that was what Rosia had given her. Clips that she should kiss and snap on their clothes somewhere and the spell would begin to work - Rosia was very talented in this aspect, that a simple fan girl’s kiss could awaken such strong magic. The fan girl in question stroked the clip, kissed it quickly and held it out to Lupe.
