Chapter 5 (The Accusations)

      The darkness is peaceful, quiet, and calm. I lived in it for most of my life, so it's a familiar feeling. I feel forgotten, but then again no one loves me. Will I ever be happy? I have an abusive dad that rapes me, I get bullied by preppy teenage girls, and im a cutter. Will my life ever end?

"Ryleigh..." I hear a faint voice in the darkness.
Who is it? Im scared to wake up. Will I suffer a tragic awakening? If so will I be prepared? I open my eyes but quickly close them. Im in a bright room, that is white and plain. I look around and see a strange boy with his head on the edge of my bed.
"Excuse me, but do I know you?" I tap his head.

"Ryleigh?! You're awake!" He wraps his arms around me.
Um okay awkward, so he knows me but I dont know him. Where are the docters? I need to tell them to get him out. About a secound later a docter walks in, a female docter.
"Excuse me ma'am can you get him out? I don't know him and i'm getting kinda scared." She looks at me wide eyed and looks at the boy.

"Excuse me Chase, lets go and have a talk." The docter smiles.

He gets up and walks out quietly. What a strange boy. Now I need to get out of here before dad gets home or it will be bad for me if I get home with him there as well. The door opens, and I see a tall figure walk in.
"D-dad?! What are you doing!" My heart rate picks up.

"Oh I heard you were in the hospital, so I came to check up on you." He grins evilly.

"Go ahead, kill me I dont care! You have beaten me, raped me, and treated me like I was your slave! I know you are not my real father! Kill me now!" I sob loudly.
My stepfather laughs and a angry boy walks in looking deadly. At first my dad was shocked, but then he puts on a smirk. What? Do they know each other? So I do know the boy.
"I want you to leave my territory, now! Your kind disgust me. Rouge..." He laces venom and anger with his words.

"Alright just let me take my daughter home and pack up, then we will leave."My dad chuckles.

"No, Ryleigh is staying here. Plus you're not even her real dad, and she is 17, and im 19 I will take care of her." Is Chase crazy or something?
   They argue back and forth, and Chase is shaking in anger. What will be better for me, my cruel stepdad, or a stranger?
"I want to stay with Chase!" The words spill out of my mouth. Oh no...
  Their heads snap in my direction, Chase relaxes and my dad grimaces. Did I say something wrong?
"Did I studder?" Where is my confidence coming from? "You guys heard me and thats what I want!"

"But Ryleigh dear, ill change! Please dont leave me..." My father sobs.

"I dont pity you...im leaving you and do what Chase says. I want you gone, out of my life." I start to sit up in my bed.
    My father looks at me with cold eyes, and then looks at Chase. Chase just nods and gestures for him to leave. As my father was leaving he said something but I didnt hear him. I look at Chase...well...
"So...thank you. For sticking up for me, Chase is it?" I smile.

"Yes, and no problem. Oh and your release is today! I brought you some clothes and your backpack that you had."

"A backpack? Why did I-" I remember, I was leaving and then I left Chase because he scared me.
   Chase looks at me, and I watch him closely. Will he hurt me? I reach for him, and he comes to me slowly.

"Whats wrong Ryleigh? Are you okay, do you need a docter?!" He looks around the room frantically. I grab his cheeks.

"Hey shh. Im fine Chase." I giggle."You are so weird. I want you to take me with you..." I blush at the thought.

"Really you want to come with me?! Oh this makes me happy!" Chase jumps up and down like a child.
-Chase's POV-
    She just said she wanted to go with me, and that makes me happy. Wow this girl is amazing! She is perfect, beautiful. Just wow and she is all mine. Thank you Moon Goddess!
'Sir'

'What is is Ryan?'

'You have a meeting at 5:30
remember?' I totally forgot.

'Um yes ill be there, let me bring Ryleigh home' I reply.

'Wait for me at the door with Ben, he'll show Ryleigh around. Do not say anything about being a werewolf or her being human. Notify the pack.'

'Yes sir as you wish.' The link ends.
    I look at Ryleigh, and she has a smile plastered on her face. Haha how cute, now she can be happy. Will she be okay with me being a werewolf? I take her hand and go to the check out area and take Ryleigh home.
Ryleigh you will love it, I promise you that love. We get in my car and head to the pack house. Everyone will love her.
I look over and see a sleeping Ryleigh in my passenger seat. I continue driving home.
