Chapter 13 (Vessel)

Rayna keeps running in the direction we took off, my stomach growls.

'When are we going to eat?' I ask.
'Soon we are almost there Rye, please be pacient with me.' She sounds frustrated.

'Hey what...'

'Shut! Up! Ryleigh.' Im taken abback by this.

I stay quit for the rest of the time and just wait. Wait for what though? Do I really want to do this whole thing without...Chase... God I miss him so much. I didnt want to leave him, why did I though?

'You're stupid for asking that.'

'What do you mean?' I say angerly.

'Im the one who made you leave him, he made us vulnerable. I cant let my mother down.' Rayna finishes.

'Yeah well morher made him for us so what the hell is your deal?' I scream.

'Ryleigh if you dont shut up ill kill us, got it?' I become scared of my wolf...why the abuse?

We arrive at a small cottage and we just stand there. What is Rayna waiting for?

'Let me be in charge.'

'No...'

'What why?!' I say cautiously.

'Because you'll give me full power.' She answers with a cold voice.

'Why would I do that?'

'Because you Ryleigh, are just a vessel a meat sack for the true daughter of the moon goddess. Im the special one not you!' She hollars and I cowar down.

'Please find another vessel, why me?' I plead.

'Why so you can go back to Chase and he takes care of your weak ass? He deserves better, like me...maybe mother will give him to me, but here ill leave your body and go run to Chase and tell him what you did.'

Just like that, Rayna leaves my body and I go back to human form, I look at her, a beautiful white wolf...

"Now leave, get away from me you stupid girl, or ill have to kill you." She growls.

I take off running in the direction we came, Chase please I need you! I cry and cry, what did I do to deserve pain and suffering? I black out...

Chase's point of view
She' been gone for days and I cant find her. Ive sent out search parties and ive even looked for her but there is no trace of her... God Ryleigh where did you go? I grab the chair and throw it...the chair shatters into peices against the wall. Alright I need to calm down .

'Zero..' I call to my wolf.

No answer.

Ever since Ryleigh left, Zero left as well. I dont blame him...she is the world to him and well me too. Please come back soon Ryleigh.

'Sir...'

'Yes Alaric?'

'We found her, but we are taking her to the pack house to get hospitalized.' What?!

'Why what happened!?'

'She has passed out from lack of nutrients and a vampire was feeding off her, we killed the newborn but she needs attention imeadiatly...'

'Very well take her, now! Ill meet you there...'

I wait for them to show up... Please moon goddess watch over her...I love her very much thank you for making her to be mine she's abosolutly perfect. I look up and see Ryleigh being brought in. I rush over to her lifeless body. No...she's so pale...she looks dead. What am I saying!!! She will get help I am Alpha and this hospital with do anything I say.

"Alpha she is going into emergency surgury please step back!" A woman informs me.

I stop dead in my tracks...surgury?
