Chapter4 (Down time)

Chase's PoV
I watch as she sleeps peacefully, she looks like an angel. Im glad she is my mate I finally found her...but how will I explain to her without her flipping out? Ryleigh starts to stir and move closer to me and gets comfertable. I need to find out who is after her, we will spend time together today.
Ryleigh's PoV
I feel warm and safe as I sleep, its weird really I haven't felt this feeling in a while. What ever it is I want to be closer to it. Everything is peaceful, quiet and good. I move my hand up. And the surface feels rock hard, I ooen my eyes and see an unfamilar chest...where am I?!?! I bolt up from the position I was in.
"Who are you and why am I here?!" I point at the boy.
"Ryleigh its me Chase, do you not remember?" He reaches out to me but I flinch.
"No dont touch me! Take me h-" thats where I stop, I remember now...and I cant go home I have to stay with him. I look at him and his face is filled with hurt and shock." Chase im so sorry I tend to forget things." I walk on my knees towards him and hug him.
    He stiffens at the moment and then starts to relax. Chase wraps his arm around me and nuzzles his head in the crook of my neck. This feels right... I lay back and pull him with me to where we are both laying down. I start to play with his soft blonde hair and his eyes start to droop shut. How cute. For some reason I feel a pull towards him, like I love him...but can I really trust Chase? He is a sweet guy and everything but is this really him? He could actually be like some psycho. I need to get away from him...
"Angel what are you thinking about?" I blush at the nickname he gave me.
"Chase...can I trust you?" I look deep into his eyes.
Chase's PoV.
I feel Ryleigh's emotions they are filled with fear, worry, and concern. What is going through her head, I need to know I dont want my mate to fear me.
"Angel what are you thinking about?" I look up at her.
"Chase can I trust you?" Her beautiful blue eyes deepen into mine waiting for an answer.
"Ryleigh you can trust me, I will do anything to protect you. I will always be here by your side." I pull her towards me but she flinches.
"Sorry...Chase we need to talk...about me..."Her eyes wash over in fear and sadness.
"You can tell me anything Angel." I grab her hand and look at them.
I notice something under her long sleeve shirt. I pull her sleeve up and see scars from cutting. No...who did this to my beautiful mate! I will not hesitate to kill them!
Ryleigh's PoV
When Chase looked at my scars he became ferious. Why is he mad it's not like he owns me or something. Okay I really need to get away. He looks up at me and his eyes are as black as the night sky. What is going on?! I back off of his bed and grab my bag. Three...two...one! I take off running. I find the front door and open it, and beams of the suns light. I look around quickly and take off into a direction away from the house. All of the sudden I hear the sound of paws hitting the ground right behind me.
"What?! He sent his dog after me?! Who does that???" I pick up my pace and run faster.
The dog springs and lands on top of me, I look up at the animal and realize its the wolf I saw in the woods. This is Chases wolf? I stare him directly in the eyes, and show submit. The wolf goes behind a tree, and then two minutes Chase comes out behind it. Wait what happened to the wolf and why was Chase behind there. I run behind the tree and there is nothing but bark and soil. What is going on?! My vision starts darkening and I fall....
"Chase..." Then the darkness engulfs me.
