Chapter 14 (Gone)

Chase's PoV
I paciently wait for the docters to inform me of Ryleighs sugery...nothing has happened. I miss her, just everything about her made me feel better, her smile, laugh, hugs, kisses, and her loyalty. I keep my head down waiting...and waiting...and waiting. Ryleigh please pull through, I need you I need all of you!

"Alpha?"

My head snaps up to a man in a docters coat. "Yes, please tell me she's alright..."

His face saddens and right the I knew...

"She doesnt have much time left so you can be with her till..." He cuts off and looks away. "Room 39D..."

I get up and take off in a sprint. Why didnt I stop her before she left... I could of saved her from all of this. I bust through the door and see my angel wrapped up in chords and wires. The angel I see before me reaches out, and Im go to her side in a spilt second.

"Ryleigh im so sorry.." I start to tear up.

"Its fine-" her coughs interrupt. "I love you Chase...so much."

"I love you too Rye..."

"I was a vessel." She smiles.

"What do you mean?" I grab her hand.

"I was a vessel...for..." She reaches to me.

Beeeeeeeeeeeeep

Docter and nurses come rushing in, trying to bring her back, I stand there...too hurt to move, the love of my life is gone. Why Moon Goddess..why did you take her away from me. I need to find out what she meat though...but first I will find a way to bring her back.

Ryleigh's pov
I look through the darkness that consumes me, am I in a void? No, it cant be. I turn and see a figure.

"Excuse me!" I run to them. "Hello excuse me." I grab their sholder.

"Hello there welcome to the Soul Carin." The stranger greets me.

"Soul Carin?" I say a litte undersupprised. Honestly its pretty explanitory to me, key word being 'soul'.

"Correct, its where the souls choose their path." They Explain.

"Is there a way for me to go back? You know back to life?" I ask.

"Its possible but hard my dear child, it takes all of your will power to get back."

I have to get back to Chase, he's probably a wreck right now. I will do anything to get back there and live my new life.

"Im prepared for whatever obsticals lie ahead." I say boldly.

"As you wish, please proceed through this door." The ghastly figure raises their hand and a white door appears.

I grab the door nobs and walk through to another place, a familiar place as well...I turn and come face to face with my Foster Father, no....I look at him, its not real. Steven comes after me with a belt and I let out a blood curdeling scream. Steven drops to the ground covering his ears. Serves ya right bitch. I smirk and run to my room, why? I have no clue, but I end up in another place, this time not so familiar. Where am I..?

"Excuse me?" I whip around.

I see the Moon Goddess...

"What business do you have with me, I thought you died." She looks as if she's seen a ghost.

"Im going back, I have a life to live." I say a bit harsh.

"What makes you think you can go back?" She smirks.

"Because I said im going back damnit!" I feel something...powerful in me.

I stare at the frightened Moon Goddess, so I step towards her. Her eyes widen as she steps back.

"All you do is fuck up peoples lives, you dont deserve these children. You're cruel, Goddess or not, I will disobey you. You are filthy and disgusting, you will hurt for what you did." The power grows stronger.

I grab her wrist, and unleash something. I watch as I drain her power from her, the moon Goddess withers away, dead. I look around for a way out and there's another door.

'You took her power?'

'Whos there?!' I jump.

'Im the creator of Moon Goddesses, my dear Ryleigh.' I turn to see a man, probably his early twenties.

'So what is your name?' I ask.

'Alex, and im here for you.' He nods at me.

'Why me?' I question.

'Well because you are the next Moon Goddess.'

Me the next Moon Goddess? Thats not possible, I look at Alex in shock.

'Now I know this is shocking but we had to wait, Ryleigh you're a profet I had in a dream millions of years ago. You will save all of the supernatural from wars. Now please can you do this?' He looks at me with pleading eyes.

'Will I be able to walk the earth?'

'Whatever is fit for the Goddess, she is allowed to do anything.' Alex smiles.

'Then yes, I accept.' I bow to my creator.

'Now, ill give you full power to you, and your mate.' I look at him as he smiles. 'I want Chase to protect you at all cost. Now go my child.'

Everything goes black for a second and then im in front of the pack house. Im home... I run up to the door and walk in everyone doesnt notice me... Whats going on?

'Oh hun I forgot to tell you, go find your body and reconnect with it. Right now you are in spirital mode, now go Chase is waiting.' I head alex's voice.

I walk around and notice that everyone is sad. I walk to the medical wing in the pack house, and see my body in a room. Chase is right next to me, I quickly run to my body and grab my hand.

Chase's pov

I quietly sit by Ryleigh and let tears stream down my eyes. I could of saved her, I could of changed her to save her. No I couldnt do that to Ryleigh. I squeez her hand and cry harder.

*gasp* I look to see Ryleigh sitting up gasping.

"R-Ryleigh..?" I studder.

"Chase..." Her eyes well up with tears. "I killed her..."

"Killed who..?" I ask with worry.

"The Moon Goddess..." And with that she blacked out.
