Prophecy

There is complete darkness. This must be where I die now. I've fail my papa and especially my pack.
A hand graze my cheek and sends tingles down my face.

"Doctor Kellan, it's been 3 weeks now."

Holy shit im alive? I've been out for 3 weeks? Why does this guy makes me feel uneasy?

"Alpha, she needs all the rest she can get. She's lost lots of blood." The doctor says.

The alpha sighs and his hand intertwined with mine.
Weirdly, his touch makes me calm and I drifted back to sleep.

I wake up to the sound of the heart monitor. My throat feels like I just swallowed a desert and my muscles are sore.
I used all my energy to get up to get a glass of water.

A nice cold glass was on the table next to me and I quickly drank it.
After I put the glass down, I observe my surroundings.

Yup, I'm in a pack hospital. Another pack must have stopped the beast and took me in.  I sigh as the memories flood back to me.

The warriors begin to shift and the women and children seek a hiding spot. I knew this day would come.
My papa is nowhere to be seen. All of loved ones bodies scattered everywhere.

"Lily you must go!" An elder yells out to me. I run to her and help her into a basement.

"Helen, it's time. The beast is here and I have to stop him or else he's going to kill us all." I said.

She hugs me and kisses each side of my cheek.

"You'll come back for us right Lily?" She sobs.

Her tears hit my shirt and I embrace her in a hug.

"Yes I promise. Now go inside. Everything will be fine." I ordered.

I run towards the gamma to help him fight off the wolves.
Once I get 3 off of him, I help him up.
Gamma Harry nods at me. He knows about the prophecy. I nod back at him. I need to find my papa but before that I ran towards a warrior who was injured.

"2 against 1 isn't fair you dickheads!" I yell.

My claws elongated and with one swipe, they're down.
Then, several wolves came out from the bushes and circled me.

I growled loudly and with power to show them that I am not the one to mess with which earns surprising looks from them.
Then, the man that I was destined to kill came.

"Oh you're up!" A man in a white lab coat exclaims.

His voice makes me jump a little and I get into a fighting stance and growl.
The man puts his hands in the air and surrenders.

"Please, I'm Doctor Kellan. I need to check up on you. You were severely injured." He says calmly and begins to move towards me.

I noticed the big bloody bandage on the side of my body and panic.
Doctor Kellan gave me a reassuring smile and begins to ask me questions about what I remember.

"Luckily you guys saved me from those mutts and their alpha." I sighed.

"So what's your name?"

"I am Lillian. Lillian Sandres but call me Lily."

"From the Moon Wolves pack right?"

"Yes, how'd you know?"

"Alpha Grayson just attacked your pack 3 weeks ago."

I back away from the man and growl again.

"W-what. You're saying that i-im in the Red Howler's territory?"

He tries to approach me but I back away like a little girl.

"Lillian, I know this is all crazy to you but you need to stay calm. You're still healing."

I spit at him and grabbed a fork.

"Healing my ass. I don't give a shit, I'm leaving."

Before I got near the door, it opens and a tall, muscular man comes in.
My eyes trailed to his toned and tan body then to his sculpted face. His stubble makes him look like a bad ass and laid back hair makes him look sexy. Those eyes are breathtaking.
Oh shit.

"No no no no. Who are you?" I ask. Please don't say alpha.

"I'm Alpha Grayso-"

"Get the fuck away from me!"

That bastard is my mate. And he's the beast that I am destined to kill.

"You're over reacting Lillian." He says slowly.

I love the way he says my name but I'd rather not have him say it again or else it'll trigger the mate bond.

"I'm going back to my pack. You can't stop me or else I'll kill you!"

He looks down and doesn't reply.
I try to walk out the door but he grabs me before I do.
Tingles are spreading through my body but I fight it.

"Don't fight it Lillian, we're mates. We need to talk."

"We may be mates but I was also made to kill you. You're a dipshit alpha and a monster!"
I kick him where the sun doesn't shine and make a run for it.
