When I first woke up, I was greeted by Farrah and Rose hovering over me. I was parched and my muscles were sore.

The mark on my neck stung every time I would try to turn my head.

"Lillian! She's awake guys!" Rose exclaimed as she jumped up and down.

"It's a Christmas miracle." Farrah sighs.

I examined the room I was in. White walls, white floor, and white furniture.
Bouquets of flowers and balloons were brought to me.

"Water" I whispered.

Farrah hands me a glass of water. I gulped it down in seconds which earned me a smile from everyone.

I took a glimpse at the amount of people that were outside. These people really care about me. It warmed my heart.

"Stay put hun, Doctor Kellan is on his way." Farrah smiled.

My legs dangled over the bed as I wait patiently for Doctor Kellan.

Then, a wave of power emitted from the door.
I quickly looked up. His blue eyes met my green ones. All I saw were his black eyes back at the forest. The evil lurked in them. The evil was still apart of him.

Apart of me wanted to run to him and hug him. But I was too scared. I begged someone to take him out of the room. I begged and cried until he left.

My crying and shaking stopped when I saw the tall figure leave the room.

"He's gone now Lilly." Rose whispers in my ear.

"Lillian, I need to run some tests on you and see if you're healthy. Is that okay?" Doctor Kellan asks cautiously.

I nodded and let Doctor Kellan examine me.
He poked me in weird places and asked me if a certain area hurt.
I just simply said no and went back to my day dreaming.

Who knew that I would be scared of my mate. I mentally laughed at myself. It was supposed to be the other way around.
And the mark, I don't like it. His bite marks will eventually leave a scar. He's already claimed me as his.

"You're all done Lilly. You lost lots of blood so the first few days will be woozy for you. I suggest you to sleep in and eat lots." Dr. Kellan explained.

My stomach growls loud enough for the whole pack to hear. Farrah and Rose helped me stand while Ellie grabbed my belongings. I thanked the 3 girls for their help.

Once I changed into my jeans and an oversized shirt, we began walking to the pack house.

The amount of people that came to see me today was ridiculous. The last time I remembered, they hated me and wanted me dead.

"What would you like to eat when we get to the pack house?" Farrah asks.

I shrugged my shoulders and stared at the ground.

"You have to eat something." Rose frowned.

"I ordered pizza for the kids earlier. Does pizza sound good?" Ellie asks.

I simply shrugged my shoulders again.

The walk was quiet. I shivered the whole way there since it was winter and the snow was thickening.

Rows of houses were decorated with Christmas lights and cute little props. I wondered how my Christmas would be without my family. Does Grayson even celebrate Christmas? He doesn't look like the kind to celebrate anything.
