The light was too bright for my liking. I sat up and reached for the cold glass of orange juice beside the bed. My head throbs as I try to regain my consciousness.

Memories flood my brain and it becomes painful. I hissed at the bump that formed in the back of my head. I swear when I see that fucker, I'm going to kill him.

"Sike!" My wolf yells.

"Hey shut it! I'm in pain at the moment." I told her.

I slowly shift my aching body to the side and stood up. Luckily, my bags were in the room so I quickly changed into a gray hoodie and a pair of leggings.

My only thoughts were on Rose right now. I needed to find her then leave this place without being noticed.

The cold door knob made contact with my hand. I quietly twisted it and looked out the door. The hallway was long and connected to many doors.

The cream colored doors looked identical. I focused on my hearing to determine if there was anyone near me. It seemed like no one was in their rooms, they were all in the kitchen. Then, I faintly hear Rose's voice. She sounds like she's laughing at something.

Without thinking, I quickly followed her voice which lead me to the kitchen. My subconscious rolls her eyes at me and scolds me about not thinking beforehand.

5 pairs of eyes look at me wildly. I searched for Rose who was sitting in between the beta and a girl. I hope she's not befriending these monsters. I hope that they're keeping her against her will.

I glare at everyone and my eyes landed on my mate. Then, I started growling.

Rose walks up to me and grabs my hand.

"Hey there, come and join us for breakfast and we can talk."

"I'd rather eat shit." I barked.

Her eyes became teary and she pouts. I know what exactly she's doing. The innocent puppy dog face won't work this time. She befriended our enemies and I will never get passed that.

"Lillian please, they're really good people. Come one you can trust me, I wouldn't lie. They welcomed us to their pack and I made friends!"

Now that hit a soft spot in my heart. Rose is actually happy. She deserves to live a normal life after what she's been through.

"O-okay fine. But we're not staying." I said.

She wipes her tears and hugs me tightly then pulls me towards my mate and his friends.

"Okay guys! So this is Lillian, she's my friend, oh and she's Alpha Grayson's mate! She's some kind of prophecy that's suppose to kill the beast aka Alpha Grayson and take control of his pack. I'm sure you guys know that already sorry haha. I mean you've been trying to kill us for these past 2 months haha."

"Rose that's enough." I whispered.

The 4 pairs of eyes looked at us amusingly. I grabbed a chair next to Rose and she hands me a plate with eggs, bacon and strawberries on it.

I pushed the plate back to her and she's glares at me.

"Don't worry, I didn't poison it." The girl that sat next to Rose said. She extends her hand for me and smiles.

"I'm Ellieanna but Ellie for short. It's really nice to meet you. My mate is Garret, the 3rd in command." She says.

A man with black hair and green eyes turns to me and waves. I stare at Ellie's hand and Garret for a long time. Then I looked away.
