Nothing. There was nothing behind the door. All I saw were a couple of gym mats and a treadmill.

I quickly scurried away and began searching all of the rooms for Jacob. He left me.
I ran my fingers through my hair and paced across the room.

Once I was calm enough, I stomped out of the gym and towards the clearing where everyone else was training. As I walked towards them, I spotted something hiding behind a bush.
It was probably an animal.

Then, a threatening growl was coming towards the forest.
The closer I got, the more I could hear. Fighting!

I ran, stumbled, tripped, hurried, darted around the trees, jumped over the log, and ducked under the low hanging branches as I raced to the scene.

And there it was.

Grayson, Jacob and a couple more warriors brawling 10 rogues. I watched from a distance. The rogues were aggressive and angry. They bolt towards my mate.

A gasp comes out of my mouth as I watched my mate fight off the 3 rouges. I was pleased after I saw my mate beat the 3 rogues. But, I cringed after he snapped their necks and killed them.

My eyes trailed to Jacob. He was helping a warrior fight off the other rogues. I glared at him for leaving without telling me.

A twig broke behind me. I quickly turned around and saw nothing. My senses were on high alert as I went to examine what it was. A scent of another wolf was near me. It didn't smell like anyone in the Red Howler's pack. Rogue.

I growled loudly. The response I got was a bark. A light brown wolf appears in front of me. It crouches. It's sharp teeth bared at me. The wolf was huge. I was astonished at the size. It was as big as Grayson's wolf.

As I stared blankly at it, the wolf advanced towards me. The rogue jumps on top of me and places it's paws on my chest. His claws sinks into my flesh and I scream in pain.

I grabbed the wolf by its neck and swings it towards a tree. The sound of bones breaking makes me flinch. My legs were weak. I barely made it up. Fury dominated my thoughts as I sprint towards the rogue.

But, someone pulls the back of my shirt and I land on the dirt with a thud. I opened my eyes and fixated it to see who did it.

Once again, blue eyes bore into mine. I sigh quietly as I stare at my mate. His face was covered in minor scratches and he had blood on his cheek.

"Are you hurt?" He asks angrily.

Did I do something wrong? Why is he mad at me?

"Not really. Just wounds on my chest see." I pulled my hair back and pointed to my chest. The wounds from the rogue's claws were healing.

I looked back up at Grayson. His eyes were fixated onto my chest. Grayson's once electrifying blue eyes were now black.

"Are you okay?" I panicked.

He didn't respond, he just kept on staring at my chest.
I crossed my arms and placed them on top of my chest. He growls at me.

"Grayson, seriously, what's wrong-"

His body connects with mine and I hit my back on a tree. The tingles and sparks are powerful than ever as his whole body is on mine. I looked at him in horror. Those eyes. They were as dark as night. They were evil.

Grayson's fangs ravished my neck. I gasped and screamed for him to stop.

My weak arms kept on hitting him and tried pushing him away. The pain was excruciatingly horrible. I felt the warm liquid trail down my neck. It began to soak my tank top.

"Grayson please, please stop." I whispered.

A weird feeling began assimilating through my body. It felt eccentric. Hundreds of voices of the pack member filled my head. It was too much to take in. The forest was spinning. My eyelids were heavy.
With a little bit of hope, I tried pushing Grayson away one more time.

The weight from his heavy body was lifted off of me. I felt weak. My brain was going to shut down, I wanted to sleep. But, I kept my eyes open for 30 more seconds. I wanted to see who my rescuer was.

Jacob was hovering over me. His hands put pressure onto my neck and I hiss at the pain.

"You left me at the gym." I whispered.

He gives me a sorrowful smile.

"You're losing lots of blood right now and you're mad about that?" He asks.

I laughed but it quickly turned to a cough. My neck rotated to where Grayson was. I frowned at the sight in front of me.

Grayson was being contained by Garret and a couples of warriors.

"Am I going to die?" I asked out of the blue.

"You're not dying! Don't ever say that. I'm going to take you to the pack doctor." Jacob said with worried in his voice.

Jacob's arms hoisted me up. Then, he began running.

I stared at the clouds in confusion. Why me? Why do I have to go through the pain. I mean, it was stupid to have my boobs out like that but I thought Grayson would have some strength to stop himself.

He marked me. Forcefully. Tears spilled onto my cheeks.

"Why are you crying?" Jacob asks.

"I don't know."

I really didn't know why I was crying or why I felt sad. The emotions I felt were dreadful. I felt angry, sad, hurt and lost.
The emotions that I felt must have been Grayson's.

"Jacob, I can't." I panted.

"What do you mean?"

"I want to go to sleep." I cried.

My body was numb and my breath became slower.

"No, you can't!" He yelled.

Then, he ran faster. The cold wind dried the tears off of my face. I tried to stay up. But I was too exhausted and weak.

"I'm sorry." I whispered.

My eyes shut. The darkness welcomed me and I slept.
