Your words sink like ships,
into my heart with blood that drips,
on the floor.
My stained eyes from all the cries,
I just couldn't take anymore.
The tile cold as your mind,
is more comforting than you
maiming my life.
You speak harshly, but physically no bite.
Why must you take my life?
I once knew you for the kindest hugs.
Your smile held the world in the palm of it's hand.
No one could understand the way
of peace, like you.
Rain came one day and washed you with it.
The sun bent you like steel from one great tower to a piece of nail.
What you became I do not know.
You were the who that made me glow from head to toe.
Now is what claims my life as a debt,
in a way, I guess I do owe...
You left me with scars that cannot heal.
Inside I'm broken, please a doctor.
Desperate am I, for I do not know your woe.
Fools gold.
Outside shiny, inside you die.
Your words sink like ships,
into my heart with blood that drips
on the floor,
no more.
