Chapter Two: Welcome to Auradon

Entering the main gate, the villains were nervous, excited, and anxious all at the exact same time. They saw a marching band, perfect princesses, princes, Ben and Mal, and the fairy godmother. "Ugh, it's Mal!" Uma groaned. "What exactly happened between you guys?" Hannah asked "I really don't want to talk about it, especially right now." The limo pulled up to the front of the castle, Ben, Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos came up to meet them. As the villains ravishingly stepped out of the car, the air wreaked of hostility and dirty looks.

Francis whistled, "Nice place!" "Honestly, I'd rather live in the basement of Freddie's Shop!" Uma complained. "My sister's shop? The one she stole-" "Welcome!" Ben said in a skeptical tone. Uma rolled her eyes, then spotted Mal, "Oh, my gosh! Mal, it is soo nice to see you again!" She scoffed, "What, after what you did to me?" Uma's ocean eyes pierced through Mal's emerald eyes, "Well, I'm not the one who-" "Okayyyy! Who wants to have a tour?!" Ben interrupted, attempting to break the ice. However, the tension could be cut through with scissors.

Everyone followed Ben around the castle for their tour. "And here will be your rooms, I'll leave you guys alone now to get settled." Uma scrunched her nose at the sight of all the pink and brightness that filled the room. "Eww!! I can't take this!" Uma dug into her bag and got her spell book. "Brace yourself, I haven't done real, working magic in a long time!" She scrambled through the pages until she found the right one, "Aha! Okay... 'Beware foreswear, replace this color, with something I can bare.'" And just with that, the whole room turned into an explosion of black, purple, and red.

Uma sighed of relief, "Phew! It actually worked! This is so much better!" She collapsed on her bed, "I totally agree!" Hannah replied. There was nothing more Uma would love than to lay around all day, but their was business she and the others needed to attend to.

Francis and Ashton explored their dorm, it wasn't as big as their old room, but it was okay for now, because they were only going to be staying for a little while. That's when they heard a knock on the door, "Come on guys! We need to go!" Uma commanded from the other side. "Okay, we're coming!" Ashton replied. And they left the boys' room and went to the meadow where Jay, Carlos, Mal, and Evie were.

Jay was the first to realize them, "Fellas..." he whispered "look who it is!" Evie, Mal, and Carlos turned and saw the villains coming up to them with evil smirks on their faces. They were obviously up to no good! Uma was the first to greet them, "Why hello my fellow ex-villains!" Mal groaned, "Hello Uma!" She said sarcastically. "Don't you give me sass! I'm not the one who-" "Uma!" Hannah said. Uma took a breath to calm down, "Anyway, we just wanted to say that we totally support your very dumb decision on turning... good!"

Carlos scoffed, "It was not a dumb decision! I-if anything, it was an... undumb decision!?" He held Dude close to him and scratched behind his ears. Uma snapped her tongue, "Poor, unfortunate soul." Then she rubbed his hair, pulled him in, and whispered in his ear, "You obviously don't remember who you truly are..." Then she shoved him away, "None of you remember who you truly are! Evil is still in your blood! And there's nothing you can do to remove it! You are... and always will be... villains! You cannot change who you were born to be!"

Jay stood up, "Now just hold on a second!-" Uma laughed, "Oh, look guys! It's the famous thief, and he claims to be 'good!' Well I rebuke you!" Hannah stepped forward to chime in, "Yeah! You cannot pretend to be something you're not!" Mal had had enough, "Okay! Stop!" This isn't worth it! Taunting is just a childish game" Francis chuckled, "Look who's talking, Mal!" Ashton laughed too, "Yeah, what happened!? You used to be the best of the worst! But now your the worst of the best!" Everyone looked at him weird, even Uma.

Evie just looked at herself in the mirror, she didn't want to have any part of this. "And then there's Evie." She looked up from her mirror, "W-what about me?" "Yeah, Hannah... what about her?" Ashton asked sarcastically. "Well, she can be a little egotistical..." Hannah replied. "And a bit narcissistic!" Francis pointed out. "But I have a question for you Evie!" Uma proclaimed. "W-what?" She shuttered. "Why did you turn good? Didn't you-" "Okay, now that's enough!" Mal hollered.

Mal and the others weren't going to deal with any of their stupid bullying, "Come on guys!" Carlos, Jay, Mal, and Evie turned to leave, their feelings hurt a little by the cruelty they just received. All in the name of being good. After Jay, Carlos, and Evie left Mal went straight into Uma's face, "Don't you ever talk to my friends like that again! I was once like you, blinded by evil! But if you guys pull something like that again, so help me I'll-" "What! You'll what?! Defeat me with your evil magic! Face it, Mal! Good has not gained you anything! If I were you, I would consider changing back to the easy road..." Uma put her hand on Mal's shoulder "the road you're supposed to be on! With everyone who is like you. On the same level. Now everyone sort of... looks down on you... princess." With that final jab, Mal turned around and stormed away.

Uma sighed, "Blinded by evil!? Ha! More like struggling to be something your not!" She turned and faced her friends.
"Uma?" Francis asked.
"Yeah, what Francis?"
"Do you still have the seashell?"
"Obviously, twit! Why?" She questioned.
"Because I think I might have just found the perfect victim."
