Chapter Nine: A Stolen Soul

20 minutes earlier...

When Jay got back to the cell, the shell was hidden in his jacket. He clenched his stomach lightly. "Feeling any better?" the guard asked sarcastically. "Actually, yes I am!" The guard grasped his shirt and shoved him into the confinement of his cell, "I really wasn't asking!" then he locked the door and was out. Mal jumped up from the ground, "Did you get it?!" Jay smirked and slowly pulled the shell out of his jacket, "Oh yeah!" Mal rolled her eyes and snatched it out of his hands, "I just want to get this over with!" Everyone stared at her blankly, "What?! You'd want it done fast if your soul was to be taken!" a small tear slid down her cheek. Evie, Carlos, and Jay walked up to Mal and held on to her shoulders, "We're here for you Mal!" Carlos insured. "Always!" Jay replied.

Evie felt a little guilty betraying her best friend, but evil was just a part of her! She's the daughter of the evil queen! As long as she kept the act up she would be fine! "Okay you guys!" Mal exclaimed "I am going to need your help! Don't let me get... too crazy!" Jay and Carlos laughed. Mal took a deep breath, "Okay... here it goes!" she slowly lifted up the shell and pushed her arms gently forward.

Suddenly, a white-purple light released, diving into Mal's body and stealing her soul. As soon as the light dimed, Mal's eyes glowed green. It was obvious she was thinking on evil, "OUT OF MY WAY!" she demanded and the door to the cell was soon opened by the sound of her voice. Then Mal left leaving her friends back in the jail, "You don't think..." Jay asked "...nooooo!" Carlos replied uncertain. "What do you think she's going to do?" asked Evie. "Hopefully nothing 'too crazy'!" Jay replied.

Ben laid in the grass staring at the sky in complete shock, almost literally. He was so surprised on his actions. He was very disappointed with himself, that's when Uma approached him, "Uma! Oh my gosh! I need to speak with you!" Uma groaned, "Why?! What is it?!"" Ben sighed, "I was here, but I wasn't! I was able to see...but then I went blind! I was gone... The-the last thing I remember was you and the others needing to talk to me..." then he remembered "TELL ME THE TRUTH! WHAT HAPPENED?!" Uma grunted in defeat, "Okay fine! I um.." she lowered her voice to an-almost silent- whisper "mi asole uoyre zolle" Ben lifted his head, "Ahem! What?!" Uma grunted again, "I STOLE YOUR SOUL!! Okay!?" Ben shook his head in disappointment, "Why?" Uma looked at the king confused, "What?" "Why did you take my soul?" Ben replied calmly.

Uma couldn't believe her ears, "W-well b-beca-because... because I didn't want to disappoint my mom..." Uma sat down at a table "I'm not supposed to tell you this, but... We're trying to return the ex-villain kids back..." Beast looked down at her in utter disbelief, "Why would you do such a thing?!" Ben looked at his father, "It's okay dad... Uma? I'm not going to stop you-" "WHAT?!" Beast exclaimed. "Dad... I'm not going to stop you, just listen to your heart Uma, although it can be deceived, in this circumstance it will prove who you are..." and with that, Ben and Beast left Uma alone, to make up her mind.

Belle pinched herself to make sure she wasn't dreaming, "Am I hearing you right, Ashton? You want to be good?" Ashton nodded, "I do!" Belle couldn't believe her ears, "Alright! This is great Ashton! You have no idea how happy I am to hear this..." That's when the two heard a ruckus outside, they got up and ran towards the window, "What's going on?" asked Ashton. "I don't know..." Belle's breathing slowly fastened "...is it one of your friends?" Ashton violently shook his head, "No.." All of a sudden, Belle noticed something, "IS THAT!?" He saw it too, "Yes!" he sounded scared "It's Mal!"

After Hannah was done explaining how she had arrived, Hannah wanted to know if her dad was still...a villain. Because he didn't really seem like himself, "Father?" she asked. "Yes, Hannah?" Hans replied. "I know that this will sound weird and all, but I have to know... Are you still a villain?" Hannah questioned awkwardly. Prince Hans laughed, which made Hannah uneasy. "Oh Hannah, have you lost your mind?! Of course I am! Oh! And I need you to do something for me..." Hannah sighed, "What?" Hans led her to a bench and the two sat down.

Hans put his hand on Hannah's shoulder, "I have a mission for you. I need you to get revenge on Elsa and Anna for me." Hannah's eyes popped, she instantly thought of Khristopher, "What do you want me to do?" she asked, hiding her hesitance. "Kill one of their descendants..." Hans proclaimed. Hannah knew she was still evil, and if this was what her father wanted she'd do it, "Yes, dad." she replied quietly. "That's my girl! And use this, then they'll know for sure it's my-our! Revenge." He pulled out a small pocketknife, which had a beautiful design across the glossy handle. It had definitely looked like something Hans owned, "Alright dad...is there a par-particular descendant that you would like gone?" Hans scratched his chin before shaking his head. "Okay... I'll do it.."

Hannah got ready to leave, "Dad..." she began to cry "are you sure you can't come with me?" Hans slowly walked up to his daughter and said, "Hannah, I would love to, but you know I can't... I'll miss you!" At that moment, one of Hannah's uncles came out of the barn, "Who said you could take a break?! Get back to work!" Hans sighed, "That's my cue... Goodbye Hannah." The two hugged before Hannah stepped through the portal, returning to Auradon Prep, only it was in eternal chaos!
