"Oh hi princess.How you doing today sweetie?"her friend teased Vinnie as she got in the car. " Aargh!why would they not let me learn to drive and have my own car?"Vinnie complained. "Because they care for you and are worried for your safety." Anna replied. "So does that mean your parents don't love you? They let you drive!" Vinnie reasoned. "That's because they have three more to worry about." Anna responsed. "That's not my fault that I am an only child" Said Vinnie. "Well,it's not their fault as well." Anna simply replied. Vinnie was born after 11 years of marriage to her parents making her all the more precious to them.
The day went by as usual,boring to be exact,except of the gossips Vinnie and Anna shared during lectures. .............. Anna dropped Vinnie home and there was her mother in the kitchen again preparing lunch.When Vinnie was a kid she once wondered if her mother slept in the kitchen as well. "Hello,mommy.I'm home" Vinnie announced going up to her room. "'oh hi sweetie, your father would be home any moment,why don't you freshen up and come for lunch.I have made your favorite lasagna." Her mother replied from the kitchen. "'Oh God!why does everything always have to be my favorite in this house?" An irritated Vinnie asked and before her mother could respond she was already at her room and slammed the door shut. "If only there was a way to get out of this place." ............ "Hey lazy bum sweep faster,I have to go home after locking the door! Take the trash bag with you on your way out." The pot bellied owner and cook of the burger joint where Vinnie worked ordered her.The two other waitresses had already left. "Sure boss." Vinnie didn't really had to work, her father paid for her studies and everything else she asked for.Even though her idiot boss was not very nice with her she tolerated him for sometime away from her parents and sense of freedom.
Vinnie collected her dinner and the trash bag and came out into the night.The light breeze outside was refreshing after all the smells from inside.
Vinnie had walked only a short distance when she noticed an expensive car behind her,she decided to ignore it but whoever was in the car kept on following.Panicked Vinnie started walking fast.
