When I saw the look in So's eyes, I knew she was in deep.
She really liked Ashley,
I mean, I already knew that Sofie liked her even when Ashley was being a jerk to her.
As her best and longest friend, (we've been friends since kindergarten!) I just know these things without her having to tell me.
But by the look in her eyes as she talked about what had happened between the two of them today, I knew that there was nothing we could do to stop her from being with Ashley.
It seemed like So saw something in Ashley that none of us did and she trusted her. I didn't trust Ashley, not by a long shot. But if Sofie did, then I would have to give Ashley a chance to prove herself.
I'd give her a chance to show that she deserved Sofie, even a little bit.
If Sofie was going to start being around her, I would be keeping my eye on Ashley, that's for sure.
And that's when I had an idea,
"Hey So, hey don't you ask Ashley to come to my party tomorrow night, so that we can all spend some time with her?"
"That's a great idea," said Amy, making eye contact with me.
I could tell she and I were thinking the same thing.
Tomorrow's party was the perfect place
to talk to Ashley alone and find out what exactly she wanted with Sofie.
