Getting Ta Know One Another

As you finished your (F/D). Sombra had stopped running your head and moved away from you to refill his glass. Putting you empty glass down you walked over to buffet table and got a bowl of (F/Fruit). Glancing over your shoulder Sombra was back on the couch looking out on the rapidly pacing scenery. Looking back you brought the bowl with you to the couch opposite of the one Sombra was sitting on. Setting down the bowl you opened your satle bag and took out your history books to read. Sitting down you opened one of your books to the page you were on. Reading for a bit the air in the room started to get a bit awkward and to quit. "Hey mare, who is it your reading about?" Looking away from your book and to the stallion sitting across from you.
-Great back to the mare thing. I was hoping he wouldn't keep addressing me like that.- You thought. "I'm reading about the Battle of  Chaos." You said glancing back to your book. Staring at you like a confused puppy, you picked up your book you brought it over for him to look at. "The Battle of Chaos was a huge part of Equestrian history, because that was when the princesses froze Discord in stone by using a power that I haven't figured out yet." You said pointing to one of the painted illustrations in the book. Nodding to your explanation Sombra read a bit of what was written on the page. "Why do you have so many history books?" Sombra asked looking to you. Smiling a little "Wwweeelll my mom was a historian before she met my dad. He was a representative for Hollow Shades. But I got my interest in history from some of the things my mom used to bring home and restore. I loved what my mom did. To bad I couldn't help her when I could of." You sad with a sad smile. Looking at your sad smile Sombra superset the question you you using a passed tense for your parents. "The Crystal Empire disappeared after I was defeated so there shouldn't have been any history of it but you seem to know quit a bit of my kingdom. Why is that?" He asked tilling his head to the side a little. "Oh well my dad asked Princess Celestia is he could bring a history book back for my birthday and it just so happened that it was one from the Crystal Empire. It took a bit but I was able to patch it up with the help of my mom." You said using your magic to bring the book over to the both of you. Taking the book into his hooves Sombra looked over the cover. Smiling to him self a little "I read this when I was in school." Looking at the male next to you a question burned in the back of your head. "Why did the Empire vanish, sire?" You asked with out thinking. Freezing at you question Sombra *video* clenched his jaw "That my dear mare is one you shouldn't be asking me." Sombra said getting up and getting a new drink from the mini bar. Bringing your brows together in confusion "Wait so you didn't make to Empire vanish?" You asked getting up from your seat and going next to King Sombra. Turning to face you slightly Sombra turned back to his glass to see his reflection. "Yes, I didn't have anything to do with the disappearence of the kingdom." He said talking a long swig of his drink. Nodding to his answer you looked back to your book sitting on the couch. "Their are some bits and pieces that don't really make much sense in my book. Seeing how I'm the only one in my generation that knows of the Empires existence I could use some of your help to peace somethings together." You said glancing back at the dark stallion. Turning to you, you knew the look he had on his face it was the Are you serious? look. Smiling you nodded your head a little and gestured him to the couch. Sighing Sombra followed you to the couch with his drink. For the next couple of hours Sombra had helped you understand more of the history and culture of the old kingdom he had lived in before his rule.

Okay as you may have noticed I really like silly filly productions videos and hope you don't mind me using them for Sombra's past...And I have quit a bit of free time on my hands dew to my school not handing over my transcripts and making me miss most of my second term in school. So I present to you another chapter ~bowing like a butla with a big smile X>~
