Walking behind the hoping mare Pinkie. You looked around in the catacombs that resided under the castle. "Wow I've been coming to this castle since I was a filly, but I've never been down here before." You said looking around the darkening walls book, scroll, and paper cover everything. "How long shall this trip take Pinkamena? I'm sure your companions will be looking for you." Sombra said looking over at her with slight inpatients. Looking over her shoulder "Its just up a head! It wont ta-" She couldn't finish as she had run or hopped into the door. Stopping you and Sombra watched as she giggled rubbing the part of her body that hit the door and opening it up. Entering the room it was actually pretty well kept. "Wow...Why is the hallway so messy?" you asked looking back at to the hall that was now void of life. "Twilight was done here before the celebration, something about a book she found in the Crystal Empire library." Pinkie said looking around. "What could she have been looking for, and why?" Sombra asked already skimming the books along the far wall. "I don know. But I'm gonna head back to the party upstairs, so see ya later alligator!" Pinkie said hopping back the way you had come. Looking after her you turned away and headed over to your coltfriend. "What should I be looking for?" You asked looking at some scrolls. Giving you a corner glance. "I want any information on the night princess. She holds similar magic as i used when I had the empire with in my grasp." Sombra said flipping through pages in a book he had taken down from the shelf. Staring of a few seconds "Why would Princes Luna use dark magic?" You asked tilting your head. "Its not her I want to now about its who she became after." Sombra intensified a few words as he put the book back. Keeping your head to the side "You mean Nightmare Moon? There's mostly legends but I do know there are a few truths. I have a history book back at my house in Hollow Shades. But its mostly about the battle between Princess Celestia and Nightmare Moon." You said tapping your chin. "What could you possibly want to know about my sister that you'd risk coming to the castle today King Sombra?" Both you and Sombra froze at the voice coming from behind you. "I see Pinkamena didnt stay quiet." Sombra muttered under his breath as you both turned to face an intimidating Celestia. Ducking behind Sombra at her disapproving look "I thought Twilight and her friends defeated you in the Crystal Empire. What are you doing here?" Celestia demanded not seeing you hide be hind him. Bringing a hoove back to hold you "I simply came for answers, not for revenge if that is what you are thinking." Sombra said moving to hide you more. Seeing him move Celestia finally took a look to see what he was hiding. Widening her eye "(Y/N)? What are you doing with him?! Sombra explain now!" Celestia yelled glaring at the dark colored stallion. Sighing to himself Sombra began to take the disguise for the millionth time today. "She is here helping me. And yes the little dragon and his companions defeated me back in the empire, destroyed me actually. (Y/N) here used a resurrection spell thinking it fake to bring me back." He said releasing his hold from you so you could move forward. Looking down as you stood beside his and nodding.
