Ariana's POV
I definitely was not planning on talking to Jai again, but I really have been concerned about him. I've been talking to James, and apparently Jai has been making terrible choices lately. I just want to be nice & meet up with him. I texted him back, even though i knew he was hoping I would call.
Ariana- Do you want to go get lunch??? :) I'll pick you up at noon ☺️
He responded back only a couple seconds later
Jai- Sounds great!! 😚😚
"So now what?" Alexa asked. "Look for yourself," I gave her my phone with our texts pulled up, "I just plan on catching up, nothing more."
"Promise?" she asked me. "Promise!" I assured her. "Good now lets find you something super hot to show up in" Alexa, said as we both laughed and walked towards my closet. (outfit in media)
We did my hair & makeup, and a few minutes later my limo came and picked me up. I hugged Alexa goodbye, she was going back to Boca.
As soon as we got to Jai's he ran down from his balcony, he looked so excited, it was kind of cute. I reminded myself to not start any drama, because I just wanted to help him, and convince him to make better choices. I had to be nice, as hard as it was.
The driver opened up his door, to let him in, as I gave him a smile. He gave a huge smile back and sat down.
"You look very gorgeous." He complimented. "Thanks, handsome," I smiled back "So I realized we shouldn't really be in public, so
I had my cook make us something special and we can eat at my place. I hope it's ok, I just don't want you know.." I hope he knew what I was getting at."
"No, it sounds perfect." I was so happy when he said that, this was already starting off on a good foot.
We arrived at my house about 20 minutes later and lunch was ready, and the table was ready. I smiled at Dorota (gossip girl!!), my maid, giving her the cue she can leave. We were both about to sit down, but all my pups came running in, jumping all over Jai. "Aw they missed you!" He bent down to pet them and they all started attacking him in kisses. We were both dying laughing as I got them off him. "Come on babies, go play somewhere else." I let them outside to play, then came back and sat down next to Jai. Jai absolutely loved my dogs, sometimes I thought they liked him more than me.
We both started picking at our food, "So, how are you? Don't lie." I asked him. He sat still for a while, thinking. Finally he said, " Terrible. You have no idea the amount of happiness you brought into my life. When you left, my happiness left. You were my happiness. I need you. I wish I could tell you how hard everyday has been without you. I can't do this without you. You're my soulmate." I grabbed his hand, I felt so sorry for him. I absolutely hated seeing him this way, it was killing me.
"Can I tell you something?", I asked him. My head was resting on his shoulders. "Anything." he said. "I love you, but it sucks, it just sucks!" I was on the verge of crying. "I thought I would be over you by now, but I don't think I can ever stop loving you." We sat in silence for a while, and i started eating again.
"I was so drunk." He randomly said. "What?" I knew what he was talking about, but I wanted to hear more of what he was thinking. "That night. When I hit you. I was so drunk. I would never hurt you, Ariana. I was so messed up. I would do anything for you, anything."
This whole lunch was so I could persuade him out of his bad habits. I really did care about it, I want him to be healthy. "Well," I started, "If you would do anything for me, then how about holding back on all the partying for a while. I know what you do there."
Jai's POV
How did she know about all the partying? I haven't mentioned anything yet. I knew she was right though, even the boys have been trying to get me out of it for a while now. "I knoooow," I said in an whiney/ annoyed voice, "i've been trying to stop going to them."
Just then Dorota walked in with Ariana's house phone. "Miss Ariana, it's for you." She handed her the phone and left. She wasn't even on the phone for a minute before she hung up and looked at me, with tears running down her face.
"Aw Ari, whats wrong?" I asked her very sympathetically and pulled her in close for a tight hug. Ariana wasn't really that emotional all the time, so when she cries it's usually a big deal. "He's...He's....dead!" She yelled between sobs. She was so weak, I thought she might fall to the floor. "Who?" I asked. "Sean!... Sean's...dead! I....can't breath!" She was sobbing so much, it wasn't that hard to believe she was having trouble breathing. "Oh baby I'm so sorry." I was crying only a little bit, how couldn't you when you see someone like this? I picked her up bridal style, and brought her to her bed so she could lie down. I lied down beside her, where I watched her kick and scream and cry for the next hour or so.
After a while Ariana started to calm down, everyone deals with death differently, so I asked,"Hey Ari, do you want me to go now?"
"No."
"Oh," I said. "Do you want me to get you a water or something?"
"No, I just want to lay with you." She put her head on my chest while her last tears flowed down her face. She really loved him. I stroked her long, soft hair, and we soon fell asleep like that.
