The Proposal

Hello everybody! This is my first gruvia fanfiction ( to be posted online).In super excited and nervous...so please give this a reading and leave your comments!

Chapter 1: The proposal

"No no no no no no" Juvia shakes her hands frantically. "This cannot be happening. Tell Juvia that this is a dream. No!". She hid her face in her hands and removed them after some time. Still the same. "Juvia doesn't want such a perfect dream!!! Gray-sama, you are joking right?!"

"But Juvia" Gray said, still on one knee, holding a ring with a sparkling sapphire on it. " I am real. You are real. Everything is real. Do you ....not want to---"

"Oh my god! Juvia will never think this is true!!" She cried, bawling her eyes out. " Gray- sama is asking Juvia to m-m-marry him?"

Gray smiled" Yes Juvia Lockser. Will you marry me and stay by my side all my life?"

Juvia hid her face in her hands and started wailing. Gray frowned. This was not the reaction he was expecting. And by the way, his knee hurt.

"Yes"

Gray's eyes shot up to meet hers.

"Yes!Yes!Yes!Yes!"Juvia cried out, tears streaming down her face" Juvia will marry you! She definitely will!"

He slipped the ring and it fit perfectly.He stood up and wiped her tears with his thumb and kissed her, before lifting her off her feet and spinning her round, laughing in the dark of the night, only with the moon as their companion.

NEXT MORNING

Gray woke up in the soft sunlight, with Juvia's head resting on his shoulder, as she silently traced his guild insignia with her index finger.

"Mornin Juvia"he murmured.

"Good morning Gray-sama"

He took Juvia's hand and kissed it " You know what, you are unofficially mine now"

"Juvia knows" she said and kissed him on his lips.

Gray thought that he would give away all his jewels, just to wake up like this every morning, with Juvia in his arms. He pulled her closer and she buried her face in the crook of his neck. Resting his chin on her head, he whispered " Can't we stay like this forever?"

Juvia giggled and breathed against his neck, sending shivers down his spine."Juvia would love too. But we need to go to the guild. Erza-san would want to know where and why we ran off in the middle of her historic speech about swords yesterday. We are supposed to tell everyone everything. Including this." she pointed at themselves"Erza-san doesn't know we sleep together. So....this day might turn out to be quite eventful Gray-sama."

Gray groaned, thinking about Erza.

THE ERZA

She had strictly told him that they he was not even allowed to touch the innocent water mage, let alone sleep with her. She had vouched to divide his body into 32 pieces if he tried to do something with Juvia.

And here they were, not being able to keep their hands off each other on their first date.

He was doomed.
