Chapter 2: Erza's fury

Gray was blushing. Furiously.
He was still not used to public display of affection , so when Juvia walked hand in hand with him through the crowded streets of Magnolia, he always ended up red as a tomato.
Oh , and ended up losing his clothes.
Juvia was extraordinarily happy that day. She looked like the happiest person alive on Earth. But for Gray, the case was completely different. With every step he took towards the guild, he felt like he was getting one step closer to death.
'' Did you bring bandages?'' Gray asked nervously, fiddling with the collar  his black shirt.
'' Why does Gray-sama need bandages? And, Gray sama, please keep your clothes on in the streets!''
'' I might end up getting split into thirty two pieces today!" He yelped.
Titania could surely strike terror in the hearts of every living person.
" Here we are!" Juvia shrieked. She couldn't contain her excitement. Atlast! She was going to get married! Everyone would know today!!!!!

" This is the end, Earthland. Goodbye." Gray muttered and threw open the guild doors.

When Gray and Juvia entered hand in hand, the expression on everyone's face was priceless. Total silence fell in the hall.
Except Mira who smiled kindly and said, " hello there, Gray and Juvia! Good morning!"
Complete silence. No one uttered a word.

" GRAY YOU BASTARD!" . Gray sighed. Typical Natsu style of greeting.
" Where did ya run away with Juvia in the middle of the speech yesterday?!!"
" What is your problem pinky?"
" 'PINKY'?!!" Natsu looked at him incredulously,"You are my problem ice prick!"
"Then stay away flame head!"
" You want a piece of it, huh, ice princess?!!!"
"Bring it on, retard!"
"I'll stab you both! Can't you see Nashi is getting disturbed?!!" Lucy yelled.
Nashi was natsu and Lucy's three year old son, with amazing blond hair.
"H-Hey, Rosemary, where's your mom?" Gray asked Erza's daughter.
" Mum went to the blacksmith with Gajeel. She had some work with swords. She'll come any—Oh! There she is!"
Erza Scarlet, now Erza Fernandes strutted into the guild hall, with her new silver sword shining at her waist.
Natsu and Gray ceased their wrestling and went in opposite directions. Natsu was talking about how Erza would chop off Gray's head that day. Gray squeezed Juvia's hand and prayer after prayer flew from his frightened soul like birds.
"We just say the truth." Juvia murmured.
Erza caught sight of Gray.

"YOU BASTARD!!!!" Erza hollered"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WERE DOING WITH JUVIA IN THE MIDDLE OF MY SPEECH?!!! I GOT THESE NEW SWORDS TODAY. PERFECT TIMING TO CHECK THEIR SHARPNESS!!!"
This is the end, Gray thought. He looked at Juvia and told her," I love you , but I'm sorry I couldn't marry you. Maybe next—"
"Marry?" The guild asked in chorus. Erza, with her sword in her hand, stared at Gray and asked," Marry?"
"Ano..." Juvia spoke up" Gray-sama took Juvia out on a date yesterday, Erza-san"
" YOU MISS MY SPEECH FOR A DATE?!!!! YOU SCOUNDREL!!"
" Wait wait wait Erza San" Juvia quickly spoke, turning red" Gray-sama proposed Juvia.

"WHAT?! Who are you and what have you done to Gray?!"Lucy asked " You were never the type of person to go down on one knee and propose!"

"Y-Yes. I asked Juvia to marry me." Gray said, equally flustered.

Erza dropped her sword and said" Well, then...I guess I have nothing to say."

Gray looked at Erza with raised eyebrows and said" Seriously? You are not gonna beat me to a pulp?!!! Oh Mavis! Thank god!"

" You don't go fluttering about!! Couldn't you get another day to propose? Idiotic nincompoop!!! "

Gray cowered under Erza's death stare, but from the corner of his eyes he saw all the girls surrounding Juvia, and fawning over her engagement ring.

"So!" Cana slurred, drunk to the power of infinity." Did you both have that yet?"

"Juvia doesn't understand, have what Cana-san?"

But Gray understood everything very clearly. Damn Cana for bringing that up!!

Juvia squeaked and ran to Gray when Cana told her what she meant.

There was no safety here too. Erza thundered" So, did you both have it?" Not answering Erza's question meant receiving your death certificate.

"Yes"

"No!"

Gray slowly turned his head to look at Juvia with a horrified expression.

" But Gray-sama, you told us to be honest and tell the truth."

Erza sighed," Since you both got engaged yesterday, there was no problem to have it—"

" No Erza-san. Gray-sama and Juvia had it right months ago on their first date."

Gray mentally screamed at Juvia. This woman was digging his grave!!!!

He gulped ,looked at Erza and smiled in an innocent way.

"FULLBUSTER!!!!!!" Erza boomed, requipping, so that she was backed by a thousand swords. Gray ran like hell." YOU COME HERE RIGHT NOW! I SHALL SPIT YOU INTO 32 PIECES! TAKING AWAY SUCH A PURE GIRL'S INNOCENCE!! HOW DARE YOU!!"

Gray was running throughout the guild, chased by Erza and her 1000 swords.
Juvia screamed and tried to stop her. In vain.

" At least let me get married woman!!" Gray shouted, scared like shit.

" GRAY FULLBUSTER! YOU ARE DEAD TODAY!!"

Natsu stood up, ready  to join the fight and shouted" I'll divide Gray into 64 pieces! I'm all fired up!"

Gray stopped to look at Natsu and shouted" What's up with you now—KYAA!" Gray screamed as one of Erza's swords flew over is head.

" I'll divide you for getting married before me!" Natsu shouted.

" WHAT?!! You already have a child for Mavis' sake!!!"

"DIE!!" Erza boomed.

This was going to be one heck of a wedding.
