CHAPTER 5: LYON SAVES THE DAY
"What do you want Gray?"
"Your help, Lyon."
"And why should I help you? Remind me why?" Gray slowly closed his eyes and grit his teeth. That bastard!
"Because I have regarded you as my childhood friend and brother. Now stop this dawdling and help me out."
"I suppose that is not the reason why I should help you out." Lyon said coolly.
F***K HIM! Gray's mind screamed. HIS FRIEND( NO, SCRATCH THAT, HIS ENEMY) WAS PURE EVIL
" You are an ice mage...and so am I. You can make static things, only weapons out of ice....but I can make living creatures. Maybe my power is mo--"
"-THAT'S IT LYON!" Gray shouted and stood up. He pointed an accusing finger at Lyon and said," You don't wanna help, don't help! Im sure Juvia wont mind if the wedding is decorations are not extravagant and are not done by her two favorite men. At least it would be done by her most favorite man- thats me , mind you! will be doing it for her. I dont think she would like beautiful crystals and wedding decor at the cost of my prestige and modesty. If you've done insulting me then I should take my leave, the wedding's not even a week away. I've got work to do."
" And as his hand was on the doorknob, Lyon grasped his shoulder and said ," WAIT!!!"
Gray turned around to glare at him," What is your problem, popsickle?"
"I shall help you."
Gray arched an eyebrow and said," And why should I take your help? You insulted me well enough today."
"Because together we can work better. Together we can make Juvia happy." he muttered
"Stop being so cheesy. You only want to help because you think that Juvia will fall in love with your decor, then with you and then both of you will elope."
"No! That's n-not the case!" Lyon sputtered. " Or a tiny part of my heart would want that. Anyway , Gray this is my fellow student's wedding. Ur wouldn't be too happy if I don't cooperate. This is a big moment in your life? And didnt you once regard me as your brother?"
Gray glared at Lyon, then sighed and said,"Well, whatever."
Lyon grinned and said," Well what are we waiting for? Show me the plan , we gotta work on it fast!"
"Yeah here ya go." Gray handed him a paper with his idea for the altar and reception hall. " Oh....Lyon...would y-you...mind, if you are are...I mean...you b-become, well...the b-b-be-"
"- No I shall not be your best man. I cannot stand seeing you in your tux and Juvia n her wedding gown, saying the vows, kissing and then being proclaimed husband and wife right in front of my eyes. I'd rather be blind."
" Oh...umm...okay. That saves me from a bloody war with Natsu." Gray said. Natsu wanted to be his best man, and Gray had similar wishes too. But Gray thought that Lyon would feel bad if he disposes hi m off.
"I shall be contented to be one of your sick groomsmen." Lyon muttered" Wow, man. You really have planned out everything pretty awesome....this altar and hall stuff ...dont worry...your plan will be effective. Juvia-chan shall be the happiest bride in Fiore."
"I insist you drop the '-chan' suffix from her name. Or else I shall manupilate her in such a way ,that she shall start calling you 'brother'" Gray said, absolutely irritated.
"You are not doing anuthing like that."
"Oh, you dont even know what things I am capable of doing, Lyon my bro." Gray said, sarcasm dripping from his voice.

Gray hated to admit this, but Lyon seriously ,made his work ten times easier and prettier. Master Makarov knocked in some sense into his guildmates, so they were helping him a lot. Gray could finally see his and Juvia's wedding come to life.
