"So this is yours?" asked Jayla as she pulled out the diary.
The Rebellious Man pulled out his copy of the diary and showed it to the girls.
"You are the Rebellious Man," stated Mia.
"I wrote down everything that is wrong with Thólos, so hopefully I could copy it and stick it in all the libraries in the city. However, I only got to place one copy, in your house, because the rest were taken by the authorities and burned. Oh, and call me Cody." stated the mysterious figure.
"Well Cody, why did you decide to kidnap us in the middle of the park!" exclaimed Jayla.
"Shh, keep it down they might hear us," whispered Cody.
"Whose they?" asked Mia.
"The government," whispered Cody even softer than before, "You two are the chosen. Both of you are supposed to lead the children of Thólos to free your parents and the entire city," explained Cody.
"What do you mean by, free our parents?" wondered Mia.
"Were either of your parents home this morning?" asked Cody.
"No."
"Exactly, all the adults of Thólos were kidnapped last night in their sleep and it is the kids' job to rescue them,"
