Waking up with Gabriel wrapped around my back side isn't a bad way to wake up. Waking up with Gabriel wrapped around my back side and Sean's good looking face right up next to mine...somehow better. "There's my Cutie pie." I cover my face not to hide the giant smile on my face but to keep morning breath from gagging him. "Come on you're going to work with me today."

"Really?" I ask already setting up careful not to move Gabriel too much.

"If you want to."

I dart to my closet and close myself in, quickly changing into a pair of the 'work' pants Gabriel got for me and a green shirt. Yeah I'm corny I'm wearing a green shirt for Dr. Green. Next I slip into my boots and start to lace them as I walk out of the closet. "Where are we going?"

"Told you she would love to." Sean says pulling my attention away from my boots. I look up to see Mr. Blackbourne in the doorway. Gabriel is missing. I must have woke him again, dang it.

Mr. Blackbourne ignores Sean's 'told you so' and speaks to me. "It's the same as the others have been doing. Sweeping some of the buildings in town."

"I thought you were supposed to take time off?" I say pointedly to Sean. The last time I saw him he looked dead on his feet. He looks much more rested now but it won't stay that way if he continues the crazy hours he had before.

Mr. Blackbourne and Sean share a silent conversation. Yet another one I can't understand. I can only see Sean looking pleased and Mr. Blackbourne as perfectly expressionless as normal. I briefly wonder about the scars on his back again but shake the gut wrenching image out of my head. Every time I think about it it's like I can feel a portion of the pain he had to have felt. "Are you okay Ms Cathcart?"

"Fine. Yes. I'm Fine." what a way to convince him, huh?

"I thought this would be a good job to get you involved and as I said before I think you and Sean have something in common you may find beneficial to talk about. This job also makes that possible. The lessons you've been practicing with Nathan in self defense should keep you safe enough as long as you stick by Sean's side."

"Are you going?" I ask not sure which answer I want him to give.

"Not today."

"Oh..." I'm guessing deep down I wanted him to go because that was disappointment I just felt. "Okay. I'm ready."

Mr. Blackbourne steps aside to allow me and Sean out the door first. "Ms. Cathcart. Would you mind waiting one second please?" I nod looking at Sean questioningly when Mr. Blackbourne disappears into my room. He just shrugs. A few seconds later Mr. Blackbourne returns with a hoody that matches my shirt. "Its a bit chilly out." My heart warms at his sweet concern.

"Thank you."

"Sweetie" Kota calls as he steps into the hall spotting me.

"Excuse me" I tell Mr. Blackbourne giving Sean's arm a squeeze before taking off running full speed for Kota. "I've missed you." My arms wrap themselves around his waist as his find there way around my shoulders. "Can I spend time with you later?"

"Gabriel...um...mentioned you like to sleep with someone else. I could..um..." He pauses to clear his throat. "I could stay with you tonight."

I admit to jumping up and down like a fool clapping and cheering 'yay' in my excitement but who cares he's smiling. "What are we going to do before bed?"

"You mentioned wanting to play Call of Duty. I could get it set up in your room"

"Awesome!" I cheer again.
