I'm Willing and I Will Obey

Standing in the doorway flanked by all the others is Mr. Blackbourne. Relief hits me instantly at the millimeter smile on his perfect face but the feeling disappears as his smile does. When I see him watching Luke I do the same and sigh. My cupcake looks frozen in fear. Why is he so scared? I place my hand on his arm and silently ask him. He shakes his head giving Gabriel a pleading look. I see hurt cross Gabriel's face before he angrily informs Luke "To late to hide it. They've been there a while." With that said he leans over kissing my cheek and pushes passed the others to leave the bathroom.

I hear Kota greet him softly and see through a small gap of bodies the two of them walk off down the hall. Kotas arm is around Gabriel's shoulders. "You hurt his feelings Lucian." I tell him.

"This will never work."

"What?"

He huffs and shakes his head at himself "I just told him I loved him less than 5 minutes ago and I've already hurt his feelings twice. At this rate give it an hour and he'll never speak to me again."

"Mr. Taylor can you tell me again how you felt when you saw Miss Cathcart and your brother kissing after their date?"

I get an apologetic look from Luke before he answers "hurt". I feel a little guilty even though I had thought North and I hadn't been seen.

"And how was it you felt when you thought she was choosing to leave you out of the plan?" How does Mr. Blackbourne always know this stuff?

"Extremely hurt." He reaches for my hand letting me know he no longer feels the same.

"Yet I see your love for her. You stand there still speaking to her. Why would you think Mr. Coleman would act differently?"

"I just need to apologize and explain my hesitation huh?"

"If thats what you think is best." Mr. Blackbourne says trying not to sound like its an order. That wouldn't help. I chuckle softly and Luke rolls his eyes smiling once more.

Luke moves to leave the bathroom I'm assuming to go after Gabriel but North stops him with a hand on his chest. "Dick move man."

"Obviously. Thats why I'm trying to go and apologize."

Norths shaking his head before Luke's even finished his sentence. "I meant it was a dick move not telling me or any of them. Why didn't you?"

"I guess I wasn't sure how you or anyone would react. I should've known you all better. I'm sorry."

"I'm not going to lie I'm pissed that you didn't tell me but you digging Gabe thats cool shit. Maybe he can talk you into cutting this damn hair."

"No way!" I yell as Gabriel's voice from down the hall echos mine. Even though I cant see it I can practically feel Luke's eye roll as he gives North a manly bro hug and then heads straight for Gabriel. As he continues passed the others he gets pats on the back and a hand I think Nathans ruffles his hair.

"Now do we get to discuss why Little Bit is in a towel?"

Dressed and blow dried per Gabriel's instruction I return to my room finally ready to address my discovery about JDI33. Unfortunately the others have a different idea. The door is only inches open when Gabriel says "you know the cats out of the bag so what now?"

"Shouldn't we discuss that with her alone?" Luke ask him.

One of my lacy pillows flies across the short space between the two boys "I meant about Mr. Blackbournes plan not our menage a trois."
