"Get to moving, you lazy muttonheads! We have to reach Berk by nightfall if the plan is to work." A tall man ordered his men around.

"Uh, captain, er, my lord, there is a problem below deck... You really should check it out."

"Ugh, useless muttonheads, can't do anything on their own." The captain complained.

Across the ship, Magnus watched his father stomp down below deck. His father had always angered him and never really cared about him.

"I can't stand him." Magnus complained to Langston. "Just the sight of him angers me."

"He is your father you know. So what he couldn't really care for you when you were younger. You know there were some... Complications... You can't just resent him your whole life, he's family, and family never give up on each other."

"I can and I will. And what "complications" were there? No one ever told me what they were, they just said there were some." Magnus clenched his fist up, trying to fight his anger. Langston shifted uneasily from one foot to the other, trying to think of a way to reply.

"Listen, my prince, you know that information is not to be shared with you until you reach the age of 19, and that day is approaching quickly... You shall learn the truth then." Langston placed his hand on Magnus's shoulder, but Magnus shrugged it off and started to head across the ship.

"Thanks for nothing Langston." And then he was below deck, leaving the poor old sailor by himself.

Langston turned toward the sea and pulled something out of his pocket. It was a locket with two small drawings in it. The drawing on the left was of a young, beautiful women. The one on the right was of a small boy.

"Oh Maria, why did you have to leave?" He stroked her picture with his thumb before shutting the locket.

(Meanwhile At Berk)

The warning horn blared throughout the village. It was a single blow which meant visitors were approaching. Hiccup stood at the shore with his wife and eldest son, Aaron. They were expecting a chief from a near by island. They were to finalize a peace treaty with each other.

The ship docked and an average sized man walked down to meet the chief of Berk. Behind him was his wife and a young girl, the same age as Aaron, followed. It was tradition to have your eldest kin with you when you sign treaties or do any other important chiefly duties so they know how to preform them when its their turn to run the place.

"Well, if it isn't Aaron Horrendous Haddock. It's nice seeing you again." The girl said, sauntering her way over to him.

"Ah, nice to see you too, Pandora, I hope you have a nice stay here on Berk." Aaron replied, rubbing the back of his neck. He didn't know what it was, but every time he was around this girl he got so nervous.

"I'm sure I will... Its been such a long time since I was here last. Would you mind giving me another tour?" Aaron shuffled from one foot to the other, trying to decide how to answer. He looked at his father for help.

"I think that is a great idea Pandora. Aaron, why don't you take her on a short tour on Metallica. Well, that is, if its okay with you, Chief Raul." Hiccup helped.

"That is perfectly fine with me Chief Hiccup." The two men shook hands, making a silent agreement.

"Now go on, have fun, and Aaron, no more Whispering Death holes. Be careful." Astrid said before walking off with the rest of the group.

Aaron called for Metallica and the dragon came swooping down, landing by his rider. They climbed on and took off.

"So what was your mom talking about... The Whispering Death hole, I mean?" Pandora asked.

"Well last night, me and a friend kinda found one and she fell down it... She's uh... She's unconscious right now in the infirmary." He gripped his saddle tighter, still feeling guilty for the accident.

"Oh, I'm sorry Aaron." Pandora gripped his shoulder sympathetically.

They landed on the edge of Berk. Aaron slipped off and walked toward the beach with Pandora following behind. He sat down on the sand and she sat beside him.

Aaron turned and looked at Pandora, taking in all her features at once. He had never really noticed how beautiful she was. He had always thought she was pretty, but it was like he was seeing her in a whole different light. Her red hair cascaded freely down her back, freckles sprinkled across her nose. Her face was chiseled out into the perfect form. Her skin had a red tint to it from being out in the sun all the time. When she caught him staring, she smiled a big, bright smile that almost killed Aaron. And in that moment he realized, he had just fallen for her.

"What?" She asked.

"Uh-um... N-nothing. Just, um, thinking." He stuttered, lifting his hand up and rubbing the back of his neck like he always does when he's nervous.

"Oh I'm sure it was "nothing." But seriously what were you thinking about." She joked a little, smiling again.

"Uh, well I was just, um, thinking about ... Ah it doesn't matter." He waved his hand dismissively. He stood up and Pandora followed. She grabbed his arm and made him turn around.

"Seriously, Aaron, what were y-" She was stopped mid-sentence when she felt something press against her lips, suddenly realizing Aaron was kissing her. He was kissing HER. She couldn't believe it. She had liked him ever since she first met him. He pulled away and she felt like her heart was going to explode. Slowly, she felt a warmness spread throughout her body, like she was going to melt.

"You." He answered her question, walking away back to Metallica.

"Wait, did you just... You can't just... Get back her you muttonhead!" She ran after him and he ran away. She finally caught up and tackled him to the ground. They both laughed, raking the sand off there clothes before walking back to Metallica.

As they flew off, back to the village, Pandora wrapped her arms around Aaron. She felt at peace, which was unusual for her. Peace wasn't something that usually occurred with her. Two years ago things went bad and have been ever since, making her life miserable, but she finally felt happy.
