Abbey's POV
I woke up to the sound of loud thumps and some rustling at the door. I glanced up and noticed Pandora was already awake. She looked down at me and put a finger over her lips, indicating to stay quiet.

When the door finally burst open, Pandora's stomach hitched and I saw someone I least expected. My mother, with all her grace and beauty, came ramming through the door. She glanced around the room until her eyes fell on Pandora and I. She ran to us and I would have jumped up in excitement if my body wasn't still sore.

"Oh, thank the Gods you guys are still okay!" She exclaimed, wrapping us in a hug. "Come on, let's get you guys out of here."

"Wait, Mrs. Haddock, Abbey is really injured. I did my best to patch her up, but her sides are still sore and some ribs are broken." Pandora explained. "It was a tall man with a long scar on his face and a few of his men who beat her."

Mom's face turned red with rage as she took in all the details of my situation. She leaned forward and slowly picked me up. The pain was terrible, but being able to be back in her comforting embrace made it feel like there wasn't any pain. She waited for Pandora to stand before she carried me out of the room and into the hall.

Out in the hall I saw so many familiar faces, it was so heartwarming. Tears started to cascade down my face as I took in the scenery. My father stood there with my brothers and his friends. All these people had come to save us.

"What's wrong with Abbey? Is she okay?" Dad asked, hurrying over to us.

"We'll talk about that in a minute. Right now, we need to beat the man who did this." Mom replied.

With an understanding nod and the wave of his hand, everyone followed dad out of the room and finally outside. The sky was dark and there was an eerie coldness to the air. Everyone mounted their dragons and got ready to take off. Mom took me and Pandora with her and dad took Aaron with him while Hayden rode his own dragon.

"Okay, lets scorch this despicable land and find their leader. Take the boats out first and then hit the land. We don't want anyone to escape." Dad ordered.

Hiccup's POV
I know that probably didn't sound like the usual me, but this guy stole my kids. Not to mention he took my wife a few years back. He has had this coming for a long time.

In no time we had the place scorched and I was finally able to stand face to face with the disgusting man who injured my family.

"Well, if it isn't Hiccup Horrendous Haddock... I knew I'd be seeing your face sooner or later... Ah and how lovely to see your face again, Astrid Fearless Haddock." The man said with a wide grin on his face. He was tall and scruffy looking with a long scar that ran down his cheek. According to how Astrid explained him before, this is definitely the same man.

"It's about time I finally get to see your ugly mug." I say with a smirk.

"Ohh, that hurts, Hiccup." He pretends to look pained by clutching his chest.

"Enough with the small talk, lets get down to business. First, you took my wife. Second, you took my kids. All just so you can try to get Berk, why can't you learn that it's never going to work?" I explain.

"That's right! And you know what the funny part is? I don't even really have a reason for why I tried..." He says pacing back and forth on the dead grass. He continues, "You see, when I took your wife, that was plainly out of boredom and when I took your kids, that was to show my son the ways of the world. Speaking of which, where is Magnus?" He glances around trying to find his son.

"I'm over here father!" I hear a voice shout from somewhere on my left, I can only assume this is Magnus.

From out of the bushes walks a slim, young man with a new looking cut across his cheek, resembling his father in every way.

"Ah, Magnus, why don't you come of here and join me in this little chitchat?"

"No! I refuse to follow anymore of your orders! I want to live my own life! I never agreed with anything you wanted me to do! It wasn't right and I'm not that type of person!" Magnus turns to face me. "Mr. Haddock, I know the things my father has done are unforgivable, but I can promise you that I am NOTHING like that man! I know, also, that my injuring Pandora is unforgivable as well... but, sir, I ask that you grant me and my companion Langston a new home on Berk. You can put as far on the end of the island for all I care, I just don't want to be with this despicable man any longer!" He begs. I turn to Pandora to see how she feels about the situation, seeing as he is the one who injured her. She nodded her head to show that she was ok with it.

"You have the soul of your mother. I don't know why I ever tried to make you do the things I did..." The man said.

"Langston told me everything! He told me all about how you're not my real father! How my uncle, your twin brother, is really my father! How my uncle, no, my real father was married to a woman named Maria, my mother! How my real father died in an accident not long after my birth and YOU took Maria as your own wife, forced her into marriage and raised me as your own! How you were so cruel to Maria that she had to abandon me with you because you wouldn't give me up! What kind of a man does that!?!" Magnus raged, throwing his anger and hatred with is voice. The man who claimed to his father only looked at the ground.

"I had no choice. Nobody would marry me and I was next in line for the thrown. I needed a son to take my place... ah it doesn't really matter anymore now does it. Everything is gone now." He dropped to his knees and leaned back, arms spread open. "Go ahead and kill me if that's what you want. Obviously someone as despicable as me no longer needs to walk this earth. It was boring here anyway."

Magnus took a few determined steps toward his father before stopping in his tracks. From across the way, a stubby little man came waddling forward. He placed a hand on Magnus's shoulder before dragging Magnus's imposter father away.  He dragged the man behind some bushes. We heard some screams and shrieks before it all got quiet again.

"Langston... did you just?" Magnus questioned.

"I did indeed, you're not the only one tired of him" Langston confirmed.

"Well, I believe that wraps everything up then. Why don't we head back home. Magnus, Langston, you two have proven to not be a threat so you are welcome to come with us." I invite. The two agree and we all headed home.

THE END

Epilogue Astrid's POV

It was getting late on the island of Berk. Aaron and Hayden were passed out in their beds. Hiccup was at the kitchen table, working on some paperwork and maps. I made my way up the stairs to check on Abbey.

I walked into Abbey's room to find her sitting up on her bed, hunched over and crying. I ran to her side and cradled her.

"Abbey! What's wrong?" I asked hastily.

"I-I just." She straightened up. "Do you remember the time before I was taken, when you called me down for food and I didn't come. It was because I had just woke up from a terrible dream, but that dream was more like a premonition. Everything I saw in my dream happened to me. From the moment I was taken to the moment I was saved. Even with the knowledge of knowing what was going to happen next, I still couldn't change anything. I was so useless." She collapsed back over, crying harder.

"Abbey why didn't you say anything before?"

"Because I didn't think it was true. Anyway that's not the point. I had another one and something BIG is heading for Berk." She sobbed again. My eyes grew wide. I comforted my daughter before heading down the stairs to tell Hiccup of our daughters warning.
