It's been two weeks since Jake and I started dating and they have been the best two weeks of my life. Today, Jake, the Pack and my brother Embry Call are going to meet up at the beach to hang out. However, before we left, I had eaten a big meal and didn't have time to drink water. I hope I don't get hiccups...
"Hey Sis," Embry called as he ran up to me from were the boys were wrestling.
"Hey Bro, what's up," I asked, looking up at him from my book.
"Nothin," he replied just as Jake walked up. Just then, I hiccuped. It was a small high pitched noise that sounde like a mouse squeak."Did you hear something," Jake asked Embry as I buried my face in the book I was reading. Embry shook his head. I hiccuped again.
"There, did you hear it? It sounded like a mouse," Jacob whispered to Embry. My brother nodded, hiding his laughter because he knew exactly what the sound was.
"If it's a mouse, we have to find it. You know how scared (y, n) is of mice," Jake whispered frantecly and started looking around the log I was sitting on. While Jacob searched, Embry was trying so hard not to laugh as I kept hiccuping. I shot him a glare before I hiccuped again.
"Em, I can hear it but I can't fine it. I don't even smell it," Jake whispered frantically.
"I found it, she has a book in her hands," Embry said before bursting out laughing. Jake looked at me, confused. I just glared at my brother before another hiccup left my lips. My face went beat red and I hid behind my book when Jake realized that it was me making the sound.
He grinned. "That has got to be the cutest hiccup I have ever heard," he stated then sat beside me and pecked my cheek. My face turned redder if that was possible. Jacob chuckled kissed my head as I hid my face in my hands.
"You're too adorable, (y, n)" Jake said then pulled me on his lap, making my book drop to the floor. I buried my face in the crook of his neck and smiled. I always thought my hiccup was embarrassing but if Jacob likes it then I guess it's OK.

FanfictionYeah it's a one-shot book. I'm just now rereading it after several years of inactivity and I'm honestly shocked people like my trash writing. I'll see what I can do about making more (and fixing the old ones, they're really bad).
