Chapter 8: Kaoru's Place

As Natsuki left the room Momoko made sure he wasn't near to hear anything. Her cotton candy pink eyes scanning the area.

"Alright, isn't Natsuki-kun cute?" Momoko whispered as she tried not to squeal. Miyako giggled at her red-headed friend in resposne.

"Momoko, why do you always think of boys?" Kaoru asked, shaking her head side to side in dismay. Miyako reluctantly sighed, agreeing with Kaoru.

"She does have a point Momo-chan." Miyako said. Suddenly Kaoru's bright lime green eyes widened, and she ran to the hallway, disappearing. Momoko and Miyako ran, right behind her.

"Kaoru what's wrong?!" They both asked as they ran seeing that Kaoru had ran in to Dai's new room. The two girls caught up noticing that Kaoru was fine and she seemed calmed now. Looking around the room they simply saw Natsuki playing with Kaoru's dog.

"You dork. I thought he would attack you!" Kaoru sighed with relief staring at Natsuki, he merely grinned.

"Now why would he attack, little old me?" Natsuki replied with a goofy smile and his eyes shined brightly. "Everyone loves me, right Momoko?" he said smiling at Momoko. Her cheeks turned a bright shade of pink and she seemed surprised.

"Y-Yeah, I guess so." Momoko tried not to stutter.

"Great, now let's go finish our movie shall we? Natsuki hurry up and go get changed, already." Kaoru grinned, "After all we don't have school tomorrow we have all night to not sleep." Miyako nodded her head, agreeing. Kaoru ran out of the room and back to the living room, "To the living room!" she yelled, as she ran. The dog chased after her, and Miyako gave a crooked smile, walking out the room quietly. Leaving Natsuki and Momoko alone together.

"Shall we be going, Momo-chan?" Natsuki said with a soft voice, Momoko's eyes widened. Natsuki Urawa has never called Momoko that, at school or as friends or as anything or anywhere for that matter. Why all of a sudden now?

"Natsuki-kun are you alright?" Momoko asked the light-red headed boy. "You just called me, Momo-chan. You never call me that." Momoko responded, she cringed as she said those words.

"I know, that's why I said it. Momo-chan. It has a nice ring to it don't you think?" Natsuki said, with confidence and a bright smile. Momoko furrowed her eyebrows together for a moment, but smiled.

"Yeah it kind of does, I guess." Momoko said, "Come on Miyako and Kaoru are probably waiting for us." Momoko said with a light blush on her cheeks, as she walked out the door. Natuski smiled, at her actions.

"Yeah, you're probably right." he merely replied. "I'll see you out there, I'll just borrow some of Dai's pajamas. You don't think he'd mind do you?" Natsuki asked.

"You practically sleepover here anyway. So, I don't see why not? I'll just go double-check with Kaoru." Momoko said, with a grin as she walked out the door. As Momoko made her way throgh the hallway she asked Kaoru if it would be alright if Natsuki could borrow some of Dai's clothes, she nodded. Miyako giggled.

"Good luck, Momo." Miyako said giving a wink at the red-head who turned pink. Kaoru laughed at her friend.

"Of course you'd know Miyako. You know that bed pretty well, I should say." Kaoru replied with a smirk and Miyako's face turned as red as a tomato.

"Don't be ridiculous. Dai and I never did anything in his room, Kaoru-chan." Miyako replied quickly.

"Oh, I don't know about that Miyako." Momoko giggled, as Miyako continued to grow more and more red by the second as if it was even possible. Shrugging Momoko smiled at her two friends and walked back towards the room with that thought in her head before she knocked on the bedroom door.

"Who is it?" Natuski asked, Momoko rolled her eyes.

"Its me Momoko, are you decent?" Momoko asked as she waited for an answer.

"Yeah, come in." Natsuki answered fairly quickly. Momoko's hand gripped the door nob and turned it walking inside, closing the door.

"Kaoru said it was-" Momoko spoke as she saw Natsuki in his shirt and boxers. "I thought you said you were decent!" Momoko half yelled.

"I did, and I am. What are you complaining about you dork," Natuski said playfully. Momoko blushed just staring by staring at him. She drifted her eyes towards the floor.

"Anyway, Kaoru said it was okay. As usual..." Momoko mumbled. Momoko couldn't see it, but Natsuki grinned. He kind of liked having this much power over her, to make her nervous and squrim around. He chuckled at the thought. Momoko carefully looked up and caught his gaze. "What's so funny?" Momoko asked.

"You're cute when you blush Momoko." Natuski stated with a smile on his face. Momoko instantly blushed once again.

"Oh. Um okay. So, you should probably get changed, so we can continue the movie." Momoko said attempting to look anywhere, but his eyes.

"Momoko, its alright. You can look now, you know?" Natsuki said chuckling once again. Momoko looked, but this time she felt arms around her waist hugging her tightly.

"Uh. Natsuki?" Momoko asked.

"I really like you Momoko. You know that." He whispered in to Momoko's ear. She blushed profusely.

"I like you too Natsuki." she said blushing. "To be honest I thought you found me annoying." Momoko said, slightly upset and a bit confused as to why Natsuki was acting like this.

"I know, I know. I'm sorry Momoko. I really do like you. I just, I'm not used to a girl like you. You're different. You're not like some girls who just want me for other stuff." Natsuki said. "I never gave you much of a chance did I?" Momoko nodded.

"Nope not really. Hey Natsuki-kun?" Momoko said.

"Hmm?" Natsuki mumbled.

"What do you mean other stuff?" Momoko asked.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Natsuki asked in return.

"Well, you said the other girls wanted you for other stuff. What did you mean by that?" Momoko asked more clearly. Natsuki blushed, and rubbed the back of his head a bit sheepishly.

"Uh, um.." Natsuki mumbled. Momoko looked at him curiously, obviously not catching a single word of what he said. Natsuki sighed and coughed clearing his throat. "Uh, you know stuff like..." he mumbled once again.

"Natsuki speak up. I can't hear you, you know?" Momoko said, sighing.

"Stuff like sex." Natsuki said a bit huskily in to Momoko's ear. Momoko turned red.

"Oh, okay." Momoko said. She sounded a bit uncertain, perhaps even a bit upset.

"Momoko. I didn't do anything with any of them. Honest. I'm still a you know." Natsuki said.

"You mean a virgin, Natsuki?" Momoko said a bit more confident. Natsuki nodded. Momoko grinned at this. "Good." Momoko spoke once again. "I think I'd like you better this way." Momoko whispered in his ear, quite seductively. Natsuki blushed. "Now let's go." Momoko said with a smile and broke the hug, but not the contact. She held his hand in her hand and smiled. Natsuki gave her a kiss on the cheek, which made Momoko smile.

"Whatever you say, darling." Natsuki said with a smile and followed Momoko's lead.
