I woke up feeling someone tap me on my shoulders and when i opened my eyes it was a flight attendant waking me up and gosh i didn't even noticed that we already landed. I got up and squinched my eyes realizing we're here. I'm home.
A few minutes later i was waiting for someone that will fetch me on this airport. I am being impatient maybe because i am having a jetlag. Then i saw a very familiar face and there in a distant is my brother Dean. I immediately run to him and gave him an i miss you very much hug.
By the way, Im Nicomaine Dei Mendoza. Maine, Menggay and meng for short.
"Woaw there menggay malunggay!" He said while laughing. We hugged like who knows how long. "I miss you so much bro" i told him.
He grabbed some of my stuff and walked to the car. Realizing that it was my car back then. I can't help but stare on it and held a hand on the side. My attention drifted when i heard my brother turned the engine.
I get to the passenger side and asked my brother "Hey where the others? I thought you guys will all come? Why is it only you?"
"Ate sabihin mo lang na ayaw mo sakin at ibababa ko na sarili ko" he even joked. I glared at him. "Nah, they are all at home. Preparing stuff for the queen b" i laughed at his sarcasm. "Well sorry not sorry Mr. But I am fab" i joked back.
"Ew ate. Fab without labs" dean stated. I pinch him on his cheeks. "You know what just drive okay? Im tired"
As the silence came. Some certain memories came flashing to my mind. Those days was indeed great but..
I shake my head and try to sleep and it was then i drift to sleep again.
