"AAAHHH" the piercing scream I knew I caused shot through my body radiating a familiar warmth that was glued to me every time I pull another special revenged prank. They were always the ones that made me feel successful and true to who I am knowing that I had pulled the last hair of off a bold head waiting to be cleared. If everything in my life wad changing and I was losing everything then there is bound to be something good and I guess that would be a target. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a bully, i just enjoy meeting with people. Nothing personal.

"Diane, you better be hiding trying to save your sorry ass from what's coming" his voice once again reach to my eardrums like the peaceful music old people listen to when they can't play bingo. By the volume of his shouts and screams, it was easy to tell that Jackson was grafting straight to my vein which was currently being un-packed by Katelyn who knew i wasn't going to be contributing in the hard work no matter what she said. If he thinks he's going to have with me in there, then he'd better think again because damn, that blonde boy is stupid. And I thought the term was only applied to the blonde high school cheerleader.

A deafening sound of a door slamming a maybe a few down notified me by the exit made by Jackson in my room. I wouldn't doubt the idea though because he won't be able to see anything past the boxes that have been stacked upon each other ready to be unpacked. I wasn't really bother to clear anything up knowing that if I left them like that for a while, someone would eventually get frustrated and do the task for me. Always happened with mum because she was a bit of neat freak, a plate left in the incorrect positioning meant that the world was going to end for her.

"Diane" he carried out my name as if he was looking for his puppy that had gone missing. "I know you're in Maddie's room" he whispered still managing to keep his voice vivid to any close by human...with the same ear strength as me. "You can hide now but you're going to need to come out for school or dad is going to go mental, don't even bother" the faint sound of a foot stomping told me that Jack was getting angry by the second and the consequences were only going to get better. One thing I knew though was I, Diane Thompson was not going to give into the step-brother I just met.

Taking the last few seconds I had left of survival against the massive boy, I decided to hide behind the door for a bit of an advantage for when he comes in. As soon as the door kicked open a tomato red-looking Jackson walked in shooting his head in all different directions possibly cracking a few times. His size eleven shoes started travelling towards Maddie's closet...or bathroom, I wasn't quite familiar with anything anymore. Reluctantly, I top-toed in front of the door pulling it open and running out accidently thumping the door behind my figure. Not what I needed.

Snatching the small amount of time I had, I ran downstairs as fast as I could and straight into the direction straight ahead. Then again, it didn't last too long as someone snaked their arms around my waist pulling me back into a slippery bare hard chest. I didn't know what was happening but by the aura of the products attached to the person behind me, it didn't take long to figure out who was behind me. Jackson Kris Thompson, the boy gripping me tightly after I 'accidently' pulled my prank.

"Hello my dead, dear step-sister" he whispered in my ear setting me on the floor but spinning me around to face his multi-coloured body which permitted a small snicker to pass in between my lips. "Oh so now you want to laugh?" His eyebrow cocked up in a questioning motion starting to spin me around like they would at a dance with his finger. I might be coated in the disgusting mixture which was made for the boy himself. Now I know it was a complete flop that decided to backfire in my face.

Just as the door behind up opened, I felt myself being pushed slightly only to land in the arms of another lean guy. My heart stopped from the shock realizing that it wasn't the warmth of my father provided when I was wrapped up in his arms. I might have not been wrapped up in his anymore but I sure know how it feels. Processing the position of my body and the boy standing behind me, sent a shiver down my spine making me pull away and slowly walk over to the annoying and very obnoxious brother.
