Yukihime Pov.
The rest of the dinner past fairly uneventfully. I got to form my own opinions of the brothers. Shuu was... hard to read. He didn't speak much, and when he did he was doing it to annoy one of the others. Reiji was very keen on good mannerisms, reminding me somewhat of mother hen figure. Ayato was very full of himself, and gave off the vibe that he didn't care for anyone but himself. But I could see the change in his eyes when he looked at Yui-san. (A/N: Ayato? Caring? What is this madness?!?! Ayato: Shut up!) Kanato seemed very... unnerving at first sight. But I could see that he was just misunderstood and in need of a good friend. I hoped I could help him with that. Laito seemed to also need someone to truly care for him. Something tells me that the triplets weren't treated as they should have been when children. It's saddening that, despite not knowing my parents, I still had a better childhood then some people out there. I also found out more about Yui-san. Apparently, not that long ago, she was sent here by her adoptive father, a church priest. A priest sent his adoptive daughter to live with vampires, huh? Not sure how to feel about him.... not that I said that out loud. She was a very kind hearted girl, who loves to make people happy. She also was recently awakened as a vampire after a series of unfortunate events, she said if I wanted to know more, she would tell me later. Soon, everyone had moved to the parlor room, where a warming fire flickered in the fireplace. The closest seat to the fire was a love seat, in which I cuddled up to Subaru in (Me being closer to the fire of course. I'm cold).
Third Person Pov.
Everyone looked on at the pair in the love seat as hours pass and everyone talks amongst each other. Jokes where shared, stories exchanged, and laughs echoed through the room. For the first time in Karl and the brothers memories, they where a family. (A/N sorry I'm feeling sappy and lonely cause my Nii-chan is at college. Bear with me pls!) Soon the main source of light was the fire, dancing across the logs as they turned ashes. Soon, Yui looked over two the youngest ones in the room, only to see something she couldn't help but smile at. His arms wrapped protectively around her, Yukihime was curled up on Subaru's lap, one hand gripping the front of his shirt, her head resting on his shoulder, fast asleep. Subaru had his head resting on hers, soft snores escaping his slightly parted lips. The light from the fire danced across the two, creating a warming effect on all who saw the scene. Yui giggled and looked to the others, putting one finger to her lips while the other pointed and the couple. Everyone followed her finger. The eldest two in the room let soft chuckles escape them, both glad that fate arranged for the two to meet. The brothers however a variety of reactions. Ranging from surprise, awe and slight disappointment that they got beaten by there youngest brother in finding a goddess of their own (*Cough*Laito*cough* Laito: Shut up Animea!). Not wanting to wake the two up, they left the room, all retiring for the night, as they had been up for the entire day. Everything was peaceful and calm; but for how long could things stay like that?
