5: Think Fast ☠

- ♤ Jade's POV ♤ -
(Tuesday: Afternoon)

"So, what?" I asked her as if I didn't hear her clearly cupping my ear, "So, what? What do you mean "so, what"?!"

"First of all, last time I recalled you said you were over this Chistina, or whatever the fuck that chick name is! Two, you don't only disrespect me but Michelle as well not even fucking knowing her personally just because she's going out with that chick. And Three, who the fuck do you think you are!" I yelled at her pissed.

Jasmine then rolled her eyes as she wanted to say something but she shook her head speechless.

She looked up at me and sighed as she walked my way, "Okay, I know... I'm sorry. I just... got jelly? I guess. But, I'm sorry I stepped out of my boundary."

But, I backed up from her, "Uh, uh. You gone have to say sorry to her as well." I declared motioning her towards Michelle.

Jasmine then bit her lip and let out a sigh as she walked over to Michelle, "I'm sorry, my bad..."

"Yeah, it's all good ova hea." Smiled Michelle as they gave each other some dap.

Jasmine then turned back to me, "Happy?"

So I smiled and nodded, "Yeah, whatever..."

We all started laughing and we walked out together onto the basketball court.

We had a few minutes left of practice and I was completely worn out. My body was way past sore, and the beatings from my dad made it even worse.

"Aye, bruh you a'ight?" Asked a guy named Jeremy that we met earlier.

Me and him had matching shoes, while Jas was matching two other kids that joined us throughout practice.

They were most likely attracted by Jasmine. But, we had a great time. We talked, but also payed attention to the game we played.

The coach said we all were in a good spot, except this one girl named Anna with her lips coated red.

She was flirting with Jasmine the whole time and not really even taking practice seriously.

"Yeah, I'm good." I smiled to him as I limped to the bleachers.

Something in my stomach area was killing me, I couldn't even walk straight anymore.

"You sure, is something hurtin' you?" He asked.

"Yeah, but I'm good forreal. Help out Anna collect the basketballs thou, since she's obviously too busy stuck on Jas." I laughed causing him to laugh as well.

"Gotcha, just... be careful." He said walking off. "Aye, Anna pick up them damn balls!" He yelled.

Causing me to laugh even more. Michelle joined me on the bleachers and so did Jas, "What's wrong?" They both said in unison causing us all to laugh.

"Nothing, damn. I'm just tired." I pouted.

"Well, goddam. We was just asking." Laughed Mimi.

"Let's just go change thou." Said Jas helping me off the bleachers. I wrapped my arm around her shoulder and she gripped my waist instantly causing me to wince.

"My bad, my bad." She said as she raised her arm higher.

"Awe, you're such a gentlewoman." I laughed.

We reached halfway across the gym when I heard a girl scream across the gym. We all turned around and some girl was running towards us.

Jasmine's facial expression changed and Michelle bit her lip.
