13: Hey, Sister

- ♧ Jasmine's POV ♧ -

I wake up in the arms of Jade and I couldn't help but smile. I nudge her and she opens her eyes slowly and starts to rub them. Damn, she's sexy. "What?" She asks, in her huskily sleepy voice. "You leaving?" I ask. And, she nods as I give her a sad look, "Why?"

"If you're not going to love me then I don't want to be around you." She says as she looks away from me. Tears start to fill up my eyes and she starts to feel bad, "Look, I don't want to be with someone who doesn't love me enough to show who she really is." She says, "I won't tell anyone so I won't "ruin your reputation", but I'm not going to be with you." She adds on and I turn on my side as tears start to fill my eyes even more.

I hear her sigh as her warmth leaves my side replaced by a cold, empty feeling and she walked out of the room, as I close my eyes and fall back asleep before I fall apart and break down.

(Three Days Later: Monday)

I've been staying with my sister ever since my parent's death. It's pretty nice, not as bad as I thought. But, her bum of a fiancé is giving me a hard time.

My sister stops in front of the school and I get out. She rolls her window down, "Just call us if you want to come back home, okay lil' sis?" She asks, I just nod my head and I walk into the double doors.

- ♤ Jade's POV ♤ -
(Monday: Morning)

"Jay!" Brittany screams as she tackles me into a hug, "It's nice to see you too." I say with a chuckle.

"Oh my God, I was so worried about you, I'm finally back from Miami, but I heard everything that happened last Monday, first of all, I punched Jasmine in the face earlier for you. I can't believe she was such an asshole, ugh I want to kill her."

She starts to ramble on but I cut her off, "It's okay." I say as I roll my eyes, "Neither of us could've predicted that it was just a dare."

My eyes start to slightly burn with tears as I remembered. And, she gives me a sad look and pulls me into a tight hug. "Fuck her anyway." She says and laughs, while I give her a small smile.

Some girl screams my name, runs up to me, and hugs me. Three other girls do the same thing and I just stand there in shock letting them hug me. "Uh, not to be rude or anything, but who is y'all?" I ask in the nicest way possible.

"Oh, we're sorry. We heard about what Jasmine did to you so we ditched her and now we're your friends." One of them says with a wide smile.

I just give them a weird look and I look over at Brittany who is watching silently. I look back at the girls, "Right, but no thanks." I say with a genuine smile. They all look at me weird, and start to pout. "Really? Why not?"

"Well..." I laugh shaking my head, "Before now, did you even know me? Probably even talked shit about me, but now you want to be "friends" with me? Too bad I remember the stank looks you use to give me, when I dressed the way I use to. So, I'd rather not befriend y'all."

They stared at me shocked, but eventually left as I walked over to Britt who was now laughing, "You never fail to surprise me!"

I laugh as well as we head in and take a seat in the cafeteria. I wanted to wait until the lines got shorter for breakfast. And, Britt sat by me like we use to, and it felt pretty good having her back.

Jasmine walks over to my table, but Brittany immediately tells her to leave.
"No it's okay, what do you want?" I ask her.

"Please take me back, I love you." She whispers to me.

"Jasmine, I don't want to be hurt by you again, and you don't even like studs, technically." I whisper back to her.

She rolls her eyes at me, "Please don't do this to me." She begs.
