Chapter 11- What do we do?
After we took the test we thought it would be a good idea to tell my mom. I know she might yell at me but I don’t know… we will see what happens. While we are waiting for my mom to come home, me and London were looking for jobs.
Me- well we need a job that’s gives us a lot of money… maybe do some ideas
London- yeah… maybe like a car wash… or a raffle or something
Me- yeah but for now let’s just focus on getting a job… or 2.
London- yeah…
Me- we could work at… Aeropostale or Holister
London- yeah… don’t you have a brother?
Me- yeah… he moved here like a couple of weeks ago why?
London- doesn’t he have a job at that one store…. What’s it called… Legendary Ink?
Me- oh yeah and he gets paid a lot too! London you’re a genius I will call my brother hold on
I grabbed my cell phone and dialed my brothers number. IT ringed 4 times before he answered.
Tyler- (brothers name) hello
Me- heyy do you think me and London can get a job at Legendary Ink?
Tyler- I don’t know I have to ask my boss
Me- can you ask him today we need the money
Tyler- why?
Me- I will tell you someday just not now
Tyler- just tell me
Me- not now Tyler… just ask if we can get the job and I will tell you then… in person.
Tyler- fine… when I see him I will ask and let you know
Me- thanks bye
Tyler- bye
With that I hanged up and looked at London.
London- well?
ME- he will let us know… but for now let’s just babysit.
London- alright…
We grabbed bunch of papers and markers. We wrote on the papers the same thing…
Babysitting service.
Can work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and no later than 12 pm.

We made about 30 when my mom walked in. She just looked at us confused.
Mom- what are you two doing
Me- making posters
Mom- why?
London- starting a babysitting service
Mom- well that’s good but may I ask why?
Me- we need money
Mom- why would you need money?
With that me and London didn’t talk. We just looked at each other then back to my mom.
Me- I think you should sit down
She sat down on the couch and me and London looked at her. I took a deep breath and started to talk.
Me- umm mom what I’m about to tell you… you have to promise not to scream and be mad ok?
Mom- I will try not too…
