Back in the present...

"Captain, Captain!" I'm standing in a throng of reporters, looking awkward but inwardly I'm not. Reporters around me about as Steve and Bucky sling their legs over their bikes, ready to enter the building where superheros are. Time to put on my act.

"Mr. America, what is your plan to end these villains? Will Metropolis, Gothum and the rest of the world be safe from these uprisings?" I shout and his head turns to me and I smile brightly.

"Miss..." He waits for my last name.

"My name's Jezebel Winters and I'm from the Daily Planet." He nods smiling and turning his body to face me.

"Miss Winters, the plan is under construction. We're waiting for all help to arrive. We're going to try our best to save the cities from any harm, but it's something we can't promise. Now if you excuse me." He walks into the building and I smile giddily at him.

"Thank you, Captain!" I call and he turns, saluting me. I don't want to wait for other superheroes to arrive so I begin to leave. I walk around the building and out of sight, quickly changing into my uniform and flying to the roof. I jog down a landing of stairs and zoom into a noisy room, only visible as a blur.

I stop near a corner of the room, surprisingly in the middle of Bucky and Steve. They both jump add I join them.

"Nice job, Miss Winters." Steve grins and I just roll my eyes in response.

"Ha-ha, are we starting when most of us are here?" I look between them and they nod.

"Jezebel?" A deep voice sings through my ears. I let out a groan under my breath.

"Kal." I feel both Bucky and Steve turn to face me, thinking I was taking to them.

"I'm going to tackle you into a hug" I grin, though reply in a stern tone.

"And through a wall. Clark, I am wondering just how insane you are. Don't you dare." I challenge and I know he's grinning.

"I dare." I narrow my eyes as I stare ahead. I know I look completely Zoned out, but speaking under my breath.

"Clark Kent, I'll kick you all the way to China and you know I can do it, since I've done it already." I know there is no use arguing, he's going to do it anyway and worst part is, is going to look like a threat to All the superheroes in the room.

"I know." I know he's close. I lift up into the air, listening for him to get closer. I spot him about a mile or and he's grinning. I roll my eyes, hovering to the back of the room but still grin at him. Once he's close enough, I fly forward and we collide after he bursts through the glass. When we collide, sonic boom blows out the rest of the windows. Clark and I swirl around laughing and hugging each other.

"I know I see you everyday, but I still missed you." He laughs, kissing my cheek and we lower to the ground.

"I know, Mom." I kiss his cheek, pulling off his glasses which he must've forgot he had on and I smooth a hand over his hair. He leans down near my ear. "I missed you too."

"Get Lois to cover for you?" He nods and I grin. "Did she use the line that you found a different lead." He nods and grin, knowing he's got a usable excuse. "Now go talk around. I'm sure you don't want to hang out with little old me." I smirk, pushing him away and he sneaks in a kiss to my forehead before walking over to Steve. I'm sure they'll get along because they're both usually genuinely good and because I pushed him to mingle around.

I jump around, usually greeting people and leaving as quick as I came. I wasn't out much as a superhero, I didn't need the spotlight. I was known by reporters because my alias, who knows me, and I'm friends with Superman/Clark and Lois.
