Stretching my arms above my head, I let out a yawn and take a glance at the red head across the ring. She stretches her muscles, talking to Clint and they're probably coming up with fighting strategies.
"How did I get dragged into this?" I call over to them.
"I wanted to fight an alien." Natasha calls and I chuckle. "Turn on the walls. Are you ready to be normal again, Winters?" She laughs and I roll my eyes as the walls light up green, reducing all of my powers besides the vibrational powers that aren't Kryptonian. I swing my arms around, stretching my muscles.
"I've always been normal, you're just the alien to me." She bursts into laughter and I smile, and do a backbend. "Give me a minute to get used to your 'alien' ways." I wink at Bucky. "I was only normal one other day after it happened in the forties. I had used my powers over the top and it was for a few days. Romanoff, you wanna know what I did during those few days and what I still do, even though I'm alien? Gymnastics." I take a deep breath, running forward and flipping before landing with my arms in the air. I let out a big breath and grin widely "Before we begin, you don't mind getting hurt. Such as a possible broken nose and maybe really sore at the end of this fight, right."
"Right." She nods.
"I don't mind you breaking any of my bones, by the way. When the walls are no longer on, I'll be as good as new." She nods, getting into a defensive stance. "Captain, count us down." The Avengers all gathered to watch this, while the X-men went back to be called upon in case we needed them or they needed help.
"3... 2... 1... Begin!" Natasha analyzes me as I look at her defensive stance and then just stand there grinning.
"Are you just going to stand there?" She hisses, in the mood for a fight.
"Under I actually see a threat, yes." The guys gets a laugh out of my comment and Natasha sends out a kick, which I duck and catch pulling her forward, but she moves fast hitting me in the face. "I underestimate you, Romanoff." I round house kick and she duck, sending out a punch and I deflect sending one to her gut, but she moves and maneuvers around. Sending another punch, I catch it and use my strength flipping her to the floor. "I've seen you fight better on the battlefield, Natasha. Look at me as I am your enemy. If something ever compromised me, I want to know that you'll be able to take me down if I was in human form."
"That's not going to happen." I roll my eyes.
"Fine imagine me as... you're worst enemy. I know I look innocent and naïve on the outside, but Romanoff wasn't that what the red rooms trained to be. Innocent, but killers. Now I want you to look at me, look at me the way you imagine someone who killed your best friend." I watch her face turn stone cold as she listens to my words and Bucky seems to look worried for me. "You only have hand to hand combat, Natasha. Now try and beat the living crap outta-"She sends a punch to my face and my nose cracks.
Lifting a hand up and running it under my nose a red liquid coats my fingers and I look over at Natasha. She looks incredibly guilty, like she just killed her friend's dog. We got along during the trip and since it's almost like a friendship, we don't want to hit each other. All the guys in the room are watching with wide eyes to see how I react. I hold up my bloodied hand for a high five and Natasha looks confused. I turn it into a fist bump and it's still the same reaction.
"Come on girl, you're leaving my fist bump hanging!" She hesitantly fist bumps me and I grin, though my face is coated in my blood. "And no Tony. You cannot analyze my blood." I glance over. "Nice hit, Natasha. Now let's go!" I send out a fist and she blocks. Sending out a fist, I block and using her bent knee I swing up on her shoulders. Using every ounce of my weight I backflip us both, putting my hands on the ground and swinging her over to the ground. Natasha slides grunts on impact and the room goes quiet.
