Finns's POV
"A tour of ooe is well overdue, don't you think that's true?" I asked using rhyme to Jake. My dog brother chuckled with a snort.
"Only since you think you got the time, dude! time to rhyme!" Jack and I both laughed, walking downstairs to wake up f/n from sleep land. She insisted that she sleep on the couch, even though I offered to let her use my bed like a whole seven gabillion times.
Jake gasped as we reached the bottom of the steps. My eyes widened as I locked around our now clean house. Everything was sparkly, shiny, and . . . Clean! BMO even had a shimmer!
"Woah!" Jake looked to the pile of clean dishes by the sink, obviously happy with that. I was happy that I didn't have to clean up now!
"Mornin' guys." F/n said and wiped off her hands on her pants.
"Wow. Did you clean up the house?" Jake asked and started grabbing up pans and pancake mix. She nodded with a bright smile. "It's the least I could do for what all you've done for me."
BMO jumped into her arms. "I feel like a bar of sope! Hehe!" She laughed and set him back on the ground before folding her blanket over the couch.
"We're heroes. It's what we do. Thanks for cleaning up though, that was really nice." I said with a shrug, plopping down in the booth and patting the worn leather next to me, sequestering for her to sit.
She sat down and took out a pendant. "I found this in my pocket. . . But I still don't remember what it is." She said and narrowed her eyes at it.
"Well then, that's a good reason to go on a tour of ooe! We can ask around while we're at it!" I said and offered her a fist pump. She smiled brightly again, putting the pendant into her pocket and bumping her fist with mine.
"Making pancakes! Making bacon pancakes! Making bacon pancakes ~" Jake started singing aswell as cooking, and f/n giggled at it, joining in as he repeated the verse. I, of course, joined in aswell.
After that Jake served breakfast, and we all happily ate. "So, f/n. . . " my loyal dog started with a . . . Smirk? She looked up at him, her mouth stuffed with food. I giggled at the sight.
"You're around fifteen, right?" He asked with a sly tone, sending me a sideways wink. I nearly chocked on my food. Great! Just great! He already knows I have a crush! Glob dagnet, Jake!
F/n shrugged with a nod. "Well, Finn here is fifteen-" her eyes widened and her cheeks burned red as she heavily swallowed. Thankfully the conversation was stopped and some one knocked on the door.
"OhLook,Someone'sAtTheDoor,I'llGetIt!" And then I quickly flung myself downstairs and threw open the door. Princess bubblegum was standing there with a basket.
"Hi Finn, hope I'm not interrupting, but I need to check on f/n's vitals." She said with a smile. I also noticed peppermint butler beside her, but he usually came along.
I stepped aside and led them back upstairs, glaring quickly at Jake before standing aside and letting PB do her thing.
"How have you been feeling?"
"Fine."
"Have you remembered anything?"
". . . No."
"Did you have any odd dreams?"
"Not really."PB patted her legs lightly and smiled. "I guess you're alright. Let me know if you need anything.-"
"Wait!" F/n pulled out the locket from earlier, holding it up."Do you know what this is? It was in my pocket.-"
Peppermint Butler hissed and hid behind PB, who looked confused herself. "That symbol. . . I'd be careful if I were you, F/n. Peppermint Butler isn't afraid of a lot." With that they both left, I looked to Jake, and we both glanced to the confused girl before us.
Now that I had a better look at the design on the pendant, It was a deer skull with a sword through one of the eye sockets. It was rather. . . Ominous.
"What . . . Just happened?"
